Though it is self-understood that if you buy a small 5-Port switch you aren't going to assign to it a role into NASA or a big Datacentre, Yes it does what it has to for the home usage I bought it. No complains, happy with the purchase.

Cercavo uno switch compatto e affidabile per espandere la mia rete locale e questo TP-Link LS1005G è stata la scelta giusta. È un dispositivo plug-and-play puro: l'ho collegato, ho inserito i cavi Ethernet ed è partito immediatamente senza bisogno di alcuna configurazione. La scocca è solida, non scalda praticamente mai ed è talmente piccolo che si nasconde facilmente dietro la scrivania o nel rack. Essendo un modello Gigabit, gestisce senza problemi il traffico di file pesanti tra i dispositivi della mia rete casalinga (ottimo per il server e le varie postazioni). Se ti serve uno switch "installa e dimentica" per ampliare le porte a disposizione, vai sul sicuro. Rapporto qualità-prezzo imbattibile.
