I'm not sure but I would say no. I think it is pretty much sediment.

When should I change the O ring

On average at least every 60-90 days if you notice a drop in pressure that’s a sure time your filter is do for a change out. Also will depend on your over all water quality and how much sediment comes in off your lines.

Does it lower tds levels? i have 431 tds

Assuming TDS meant “total dissolved solids” the answer would be no. This is a sediment filter only and will not remove anything already in solution.

Is this 5 or 20 micron? Both are listed. Does same filter work for PRE and POST?
