Does the solid brass version actually have 'Solid Brass' written on it like pictured?

What's funny is all zippos are made from brass sheet metal. Unless it's a limited edition run the brass zippo and the solid brass zippo are both solid brass zippos. Only real difference is the stamp. All the chrome and nickel zippos are plated brass.

Does it has lighter fluid in ?

No. You will have to buy ronsonol lighter fluid for it.

Is the Zippo lighter allowed to be taken in the airplane (in the suitcase)?

If you search the web for `tsa lighter`, the first results from the TSA-dot-gov website say "yes" for carry-on, "yes (but)" for checked. Full statement reads: "Disposable and Zippo lighters without fuel are allowed in checked bags. Lighters with fuel are prohibited in checked bags, unless they adhere to the Department of Transportation exemption, which allows up to two fueled lighters if properly enclosed in a DOT approved case."

Brilliant lighter

I love the brushed brass metal and the lighter works very well. Ideal for camping and feels like it'll last a lifetime. I like how the sides are polished and the face is brushed, it's a lovely design. Easy to refill like all Zippos. It has a few tiny scratches now but it really does not impact the overall look. The lighter has needed refilling a few times so it does seem to be quite thirsty for lighter fluid, but I don't mind.
