I bought this months ago on the strength of the Amazon reviews, thinking I’d use it regularly for prevention, but was put off by the taste. Yesterday I woke up with a sore throat that I thought was from the vog (volcanic smog), but the vog wasn’t that bad and the throat got steadily worse. In the early afternoon I remembered I had this spray and started using it. It did not immediately make my throat feel better, and I still disliked the taste, but I kept at it every couple of hours, and by bedtime my throat actually was starting to feel better, and the spray was starting to have a mildly soothing effect. This morning, to my complete surprise, the sore throat was gone. It’s early afternoon now and I have a small cough and a little nasal congestion, but they are very minor compared to the sore throat. I’ll be keeping this on hand for now on. I think it helps to start it at the first sign of a sore throat.

Has a good taste and helps to numb the throat
