Don't dry your underarms when you get out of the shower. Make sure they are completely clean. Then use the deodorant. Swipe it probably 30 to 50 times up and down your underarms. You need to do that. It's not like regular deodorant. Or, if your underarms are already dry you can run the stick under hot water and then apply it to your underarms. The first response to wet the Basin and touch it to the Basin is ridiculous. That will not work. I've been using this for years. It is amazing and I will never use any other type of deodorant or antiperspirant. If you only shower every other day it will last 2 or even three days but you have to apply it to clean underarms and you have to apply enough of it to create a good barrier. You still sweat with this so you're still releasing toxins as sweating is healthy for your for different reasons, but you won't smell at all! And it's safe! Be careful not to drop it. If it cracks it can create a sharp surface that can cut your skin. You may be able to sand it down. Also be careful not to tip the thing upside down or be careful doing so because I have had the rock fall out of the deodorant applicator and crack. I recommend this natural mineral Rock deodorant stick to everyone even though they don't all try it.

I am a little confused. The bottle says "No aluminum chlorohydrate" but the ingredients says: (Ammonium Alum). Does it have aluminum or not?

Depending on whether it's the men's or women's formula, It contains Potassium Alum, KAl(SO4)2 or Ammonium Alum, (NH4)Al(SO4)2. Notice the "Al" in each formula? That's aluminum. Neither formula is aluminum-free, even if it does not contain aluminum chlorohydrate.

This is a form of aluminium, but the molecules are too large to be absorbed into the skin and instead form an invisible protective barrier on top of the skin.Feb 3, 2016“

How is this different from the Crystal deodorant stick for men?

The stick for men, the bottle is a different color, it is cheaper than the "pink" bottle, and it states "Unscented" on the bottle.  The "pink" bottle does not state "unscented" right up front, but it is unscented.  Bottom line:  there is no difference except in price and color of the bottle.....
