Early car enthusiasts
Built this with my grandson as his first model car. Muffler is always a bit difficult. A great learning experience for a kid. I had him paint with rattle cans the trees parts prior to building. It proudly sits on his night stand for a couple of years now.

Buy the paint as well!
You have to paint it it comes I think like a white or pale yellow color. The whole thing you have to paint EVERYTHING FROM THE PUTSIDE TO THE MOTOR.but other than that it's exactly what I ordered

I've had a lot of issues with AMT kits in ...
I've had a lot of issues with AMT kits in the past and this one is no different. I had to trim about 1cm off the sides of the radiator to get it to fit between the fenders and the car sits very high in the front. I was desperate because I wanted to build Dean's Impala from Supernatural instead of get a complete diecast car. Overall it is an okay kit, and at some point may buy it to build the actual SS.

Nice Model Vehicle and not difficult to put together.
Looks like the model in TV shows, I've never seen a real one, seems like an excellent model of the Impala with good detail and fits together well for construction. Lots of nice detail in engine compartment but ultimately remains hidden as bonnet/hood is sealed. Experienced modelers could cut it open but that element was not needed in my display. Would definitely consider purchase again and other models from this brand.

Excellent kit
It is a nice kit, lots of detail & nicely moulded - one of AMT's best. Yes, there is a bit of flash in places, but nothing that should bother a half decent modeller. I added a vinyl roof to mine, it seemed to scream out for one! I think that the finished look of the model says it all.
