BitBuddie Universal Dust Shroud for Drilling and Coring, 1 3/8"

My business installs a lot of wedge anchors on concrete & block walls., and we're required to control the silica dust (per OSHA). This product is very effective at controlling the dust, and it stays attached to the wall (even porous block walls) due to the suction from the vacuum. It will even stay attached to the ceiling while drilling upside down, although the weight of the vacuum hose needs to be supported with a hanger if the hose is too long because of the weight, but it's amazing how well it stays attached.

The device worked ok. Many particles were missed as the intake holes are very small.

It functions well to catch drilling dust and stick to the wall just fine. Unfortunately, I had to rig up a way to attach it to my Festool nozzle. Great idea and function otherwise.

The attachment end of the 8 inch bitbuddie was too large for my vacuum cleaner. Cannot use it.

Simple product, worked great connecting to festool 27mm hose end with out the provided adapter. Extracted concrete dust nearly perfectly for 1/2” hole.

Durable product, works as it should!

This thing works! I have a lot of concrete walls and drilling into them to hang things makes a lot of dust. With this the dust is almost completely contained. The amount that escapes is less than the amount I used to get in my eyes.
