I was expecting a lot more from these, considering the cost. PROS: - They LOOK amazing and have a nice style to them. - Good craftsmanship as far as build quality goes. - Case is nice. Cons: - These things are hard to hold, the ergonomics are off, and they slip around in my hands. - Too narrow. I can't get my nails into these things. I've never had this issue with clippers before. there isn't enough gap to account for curvature in the nails (specifically on the sides where they curve down). I have to clip the middle first, then work my way around the edges. which is odd, inefficient, and time consuming. - Not sharp? With these clippers, It doesn't feel like they are "cutting" my nails, so much as brutally pinching them into oblivion with a loud POP as the nail flies off (sometimes in my eye). Why get these? - You care more about looks, and having something expensive, then things that work well. - Or, maybe you have really flat thin female nails? Maybe they will work ok then. Recommendation: I much prefer my set of Seki Edge. They cut like butter. They're just not as pretty as these, but they have none of the above issues, and are much less expensive.
