PROYAMA 42.7cc Gas Powered Pole Saw, 12 inch OREGON Cutting Bar and Chain

Bad ass little unit. I was skeptical but just got it yesterday and put it together. Using synthetic fuel (50:1) as I think these type of machines do better over the long haul with this type of fuel. After a few pumps it fired up. Ran rough and I was like come on but then realized the spark plug wire on top had not been pushed in all the way and seated so had a loose connection. Once I connected it by pushing it all the way in place, it worked like a like a champ. Make sure you put grease in the zerk fitting on the gearbox on the head unit. Kind of an oversight in the videos and the instructions say nothing about it. Does it come with grease from the factory??? Unknown but better to add so you know for sure and don't burn up the gearbox. About 5 good pumps and good to go. Has tons of power and yea a bit heavier than some machines but clearly a nice beefed up machine. Harness a bit clunky to figure out by does help remove some of the weight load. Only functional problem is starting unit with harness attached to your body. Unless you have like 6 foot arms it's hard to reach and pull the starter with the harness on. Recommend getting harness adjusted to where you want it, unclip it, fire up the machine and then while idling quickly reconnect. Uses Oregon blade and chain (gear box as well looks to be Oregon made which is a plus). For 200 bucks not a bad deal and I will put it to the test this weekend. For the limited use on day one it exceeded expectations.

Straightforward assembly , started right up; pretty heavy as noted when extension is installed but works great ; paid for itself in first use. Very similar to echo . Only improvement would be to put two bolts on the chain bar instead of one . For the price you can’t go wrong

While I can’t say how durable it is, the power and handling of this pole saw has been quite impressive so far! It went together well, cranked up immediately and ran smoothly with impressive power. I used it to trim some pine and oak tree limbs and branches and it cut through them well. It a great tool for now and I see if it holds up over time.

The saw comes in 4 pieces. The main shaft connected to the motor, long extension, short extension and cutter head. The extension fot together and lock in place with set pins the lock into predrilled holes. These do not line up. If you measure the inner depth of the shaft to the stopping point and the depth to set pins along with the comparable depth to the hole the set pins goes into, theyndo not line up. You may be able to cut 3/16 off the shaft, but that may change the inner drive shaft. This was meant to be a home owner saw for cleaning up dead branches without the need for a ladder, but I can't even get the saw assembled. After switching he direction of the inner drive shaft and drilling the holes larger and then cutting 1/2 in off the end of the outer shaft, you might be able to get it to stay together. You can't use a complete through bolt so u need it to lock together from the outside as designed, but the inner and outer shafts need to line up and connect do the saw doesn't become dangerous when using by having a running saw fall from above you. It also does not have that much reach so you are probably better off using a ladder and pruning saw.

I have used all the pole saws they make. From still to echo, this one kills them all! It has so much power I was able to cut tree branches that were 8 to 10 in thick with no issue at all. No bogging down and it did not get stuck once. This saw is heavy though so be prepared for that but if you are a big burly guy like me and have any kind of arm muscles, You should be able to handle 20 lbs. It was easy to assemble and came with all kinds of safety equipment in case you did not already have some. Gloves, a safety mask, chaps, it came with a fuel mixing jug as well for the 50 to 1 ratio. It also came with a brand new bar and chain. They were authentic organ bar and chain. The only thing I would change is to make it more obvious to people getting a chainsaw or pulse off for the first time that the gearbox needs to be filled with a high temperature and waterproof grease. Thank goodness I saw the zerk fitting at the powerhead end of the saw. It is totally easy to miss. If you run this saw without there being grease in the gearbox you will smoke the gear assembly. Other than that, this saw cannot be beat. Buy it! You will not regret it.

This has to be the bargain of the century for what you get versus the price. The unit, once assembled, makes short work of ornamentals that have grown into monsters over the years as well as taking down any branches up to 6 inches in diameter (even larger). The engine starts up easily and has plenty of power. I'm very pleased with it.

When the saw arrived the throttle was broken. Proyama responded right away and has shipped one, but instead of waiting for it to arrive i ordered one from Amazon prime. The replacement throttle fit fine. The Pole-saw works really great, lots of power. I have oak and fir trees and the saw cuts oak very well. The second picture is to show the oiler has no need for an adjustment screw. It is an updated model and there is no need for the screw. My bar has plenty of oil. I am very happy with the saw and Proyama.

Way too heavy to reach out !

I recently purchased the Proyama pole saw, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The powerful motor and extendable reach make trimming high branches effortless. It's lightweight, easy to assemble, and the performance is outstanding. Highly recommend for any homeowner or gardener!

Saw seems to work fine so far and has plenty of power for tree trimming. Used for about and hour. Physically heavy but provided harness supports most of weight. Safety equipment provided is totally useless and not csa quality. Will update. Have not had dealings with company. Have not tried other attachments.

This thing is awesome too quality and works perfectly excellent value for the money highly recommend

When the product arrived there were several issues: it was made for bigger people (the strap that keeps the saw in place could not be adjusted to a smaller person so there was no support for the heavy saw), the middle piece, which extended the saw broke after a couple of uses, the gas container leaked and the face shield broke off after a couple of uses. When I wanted to send it back, they would only give me my money back if I left a positive review.
