Perfect color match
My 2012 Nissan Altima had some paint that had come off and in some spots the areas were pretty good size. So I decided to start looking for a good paint (marker) to try and fix it myself. I got my cars paint color from the label inside my cars door frame and ordered this product in that exact color Brilliant Silver K23 and it matched my car exact!! I followed the directions and did about 3 layers letting it dry in-between each application. It turned out awesome and i could not be more happy! If you didn't know prior that paint was missing on those areas you would never be able to tell cause it blends that good!! Im very happy with this product due to the color match and the easy application and will definitely order more if my paint continues to peel off in any other areas.

Did the job, but not pretty
NOT as easy as it looks. I watched a ton of their videos and they make it look super easy. It is if you are looking to just make sure your car doesn’t rust where it is exposed, but it is not going to be pretty. The paint applicators are not very precise. The one is like painting your nails. It came with a few strands curled and would not straighten. It was medium to low quality and would not apply very well or correct the amount easily. I had it often where it would pool too much paint and have a drip form at the bottom. I couldn’t get it to soak up the extra. The felt pen like applicator, as I understand it, is for more precise application. It was not. It poured out more than the other applicator, even after trying lightly. It was either pouring out or not at all. Again, drops formed. The color was a touch darker than my car, which I matched according to the paint code in the door. It wasn’t significant, but I noticed. My car is 10 years old and it may have faded, but that has to factor into the viability of using a product like this. The applicator for the clear coat was a bit more manageable. It was like a sponge on a stick in a triangle shape with the tip of the sharper angle for application. The clear coat goes on nicer, but mounds over the previously applied paint. It is noticeable after it dries, but it is small enough you don’t see it from afar. I work at an automotive repair shop and so had access to a garage to maintain the temperature properly. One of the paint guys even commented that it looked decent for what it was. Maybe I expected more out of this than was reasonable? Just know it isn’t going to restore it, I guess. That is what you pay the big bucks for when you take it to a body shop. I was hoping it would look nicer than it did. I am a practical person, so it works for me to prevent my car from rusting, but I cannot overlook the small disappointment of the appearance.

Great match
Very close to being exact match. You would never be able to locate the scratch if you did not know where it was. I would buy again.

Worked great, covered small scratches. Don't expect a professional finish though.
Worked better than expected. Definitely not a professional finish, but color match was great and sufficiently covered some scratches to prevent further rust. After a few weeks I don't even notice the small fixes anymore and feel better about preventing rust. I appreciate the all-in-one solution.

Warning - No instructions - Watch the YouTube videos before using
The Dupli-Color Scratch Fix All-In-1 works okay for minor touch-ups, but the paint is very thin and requires multiple coats to cover a scratch which wasted a lot of my time. I suppose they save a few pennies by making the paint thinner so that the CEO can get a bigger end-of-year bonus to get their car professionally repainted. The color match was fairly close to my car's original paint, which was great, but the application process needs improvement which would cost them money. The pen tip is worthless, so I had to resort to using the enclosed brush. It will get the job done for you eventually.

Hood No Longer Resembles the Surface of Mars
We have two old (02 & 98) vehicles with over 200k miles. You can see from the before photos of both vehicles that the rock chips were rusted and looked pretty bad. Although the result is far from perfect, the improvement was remarkable for the cost & effort. You can still see the painted-over chips, but they no longer draw your eye and look fine at a glance. The tool comes with a chisel tip to rough up the surface, but I used a Dremel tool due to the extremely large number of rock chips. Each vehicle took several hours and look way better than before. The tool also comes with clear coat, which worked extremely well on other scratches. I learned from Youtube (Chrix Fix) that you can tell whether a scratch is just in the clear coat by getting it wet. If the water makes the scratch disappear, then the scratch is only in the clear coat layer (not in paint or primer) and can be fixed with the clear coat brush in this tool. It is extremely easy to use and several scratches are completely gone, though they looked pretty bad before. I have practically no experience with automotive paint, and this tool was really easy to use and made our vehicles look way less like heaps. These cars are not worth the cost of a proper paint job, which is what would fix it right. However, it does make them look much more respectable for their few remaining years with our family. It is really easy - go for it!! Update: This review is for the white color, which I (obviously ?) didn't use on the silver car. Also, my case is for two horrible looking paint jobs that went to 'passable at a quick glance'. In other words, it didn't take much to make a big improvement for the paint. The scratches are another matter. This clear coat works like magic! Finally, go see Chris Fix (and others) on Youtube for a comprehensive approach to scratch repair. My old vehicles are too far gone to warrant that level of care, so the All-in-one was plenty good enough.

It Is Either Old and Doesn't Mix or Is Defective.
After shaking the tube for several minutes the content looked like clear coat with some metal flakes in. Over the next 15 minutes I would shake the tube for a couple of minutes and then check the results and after 15 minutes the best I got was a silver looking transparent color you could see through with metallic chips. I have use this exact same type of touch up pen on my Nissan truck and my Ford mustang with great results! The paint has always mixed with no problems and it has matched the factory color of my truck and mustang. I don't know if this was old stock that the paint had separated and dried out or what but it was a waste of time and money! The grey in the picture is not the paint that is the factory primer. The little white specks are the paint and you can see where it over laps the factor white paint it looks grayish silver no what to it at all.
