The product tag shows 220-240v 50hz, while the sales title shows 115 volts. what is the voltage of this product?

The unit that I ordered was delivered to me and installed. It was 115 volt unit. It has performed perfectly since installation. Quite possibly the unit that you received was boxed incorrectly and was for export to another country .As they run different voltage and Hz. Go online and check to see if they offer a 220-240 50 Hz compressor with that number. If so, I'm sure it was for export. If not, it is possible that it is miss labeled. Good Luck.
