Demeter Suntan Lotion Cologne Spray for Women, 4 Ounce

I bought this because it smells like Coppertone. Reviewers who complain about a cheap chemical smell must be expecting something else. What they expect I don't know. The name of this is Suntan Lotion. Now, there are suntan lotions with various fragrances but Coppertone, to my nose, is the best. This stuff lives up to its name and it's a lot less expensive than Bobbi Brown Beach. Five stars.

At first, it doesn’t smell bad. And then you get this horrible stench. Thank God it doesn’t last much more than about five minutes. IF the smell was decent .. it would only last for about 10 minutes. It literally goes away completely 100% after 10 minutes. Do not buy this sent. Do not buy this product. You will be sorry.

This does smell like suntan lotion but not a coconut scent; more like Coppertone, which is what I wanted. Sadly, the bottle isn't well made and it leaks when sprayed. The scent doesn't last very long. Still worth it due to the amount of product for the money.

This is definitely coppertone in the mid 90s. Tanning oil scent is more my jam, so this scent was slightly disappointing, even though I read the reviews that mention it's more tanning lotion smell rather than tanning oil. Not bad overall, does have a certain nostalgia factor. Good price for the larger bottle size. Scent fades pretty quickly to a light, powdery scent and needs to be reapplied a few times throughout the day.

I've been reminiscing about this smell for quite a while tiring of all the coconut scented sunscreens. This smells just like the real deal! I saw reviews about bottle leakage but my bottle arrived leak free. Give this a shot if you miss those good old Gidget or Beach Blanket Bingo kind of days.

I love perfumes & various scents. But there’s something in this particular scent that smells very foul to me. It might be me interacting with it or hormones. I was hoping for a more tropical scent than this. Good price point though.

I was shocked to learn that Bain de Soleil - the orange one with the intoxicating smells-like-summer fragrance —has been discontinued. This cologne was recommended to me as a possible dupe — and it’s close. The initial spritz has an odd, almost acrid smell, and it’s way too strong for my taste, BUT several minutes in, the fragrance softens and settles down to a reasonable beachy dupe. While I don’t doubt the reviews with low ratings, I wonder if those reviewers just needed to give the fragrance a little more time to settle. Initial spritz - maybe 2 stars; half an hour in - 5 stars.

This does not smell like suntan lotion and you CANNOT return the item, $30.00 down the drain. Wouldnt be a totally loss if it acutally smelled good, but it doesnt even have that going for it.

No me gusto para nada el aroma, hasta me parece desagradable, no huele a flores ni nada parecido. Tiene un olor predominante a solvente / gasolina / benceno. Esperaba el olor a bronceador de Coppertone que dicen las reseñas. No se asemeja en nada el aroma, ni al de los nuevos bronceadores ni a los de hace 40 años. Tenia muchas ilusiones, fue una perdida de dinero :(

No huele a bronceador ni nada parecido a coco o vacaciones. Huele como a una crema de rosas viejas de ancianita, no es desagradable pero no es lo que dice.

I am obsessed with the smell of original sunscreen scent like coppertone. I bought this perfume because of all the reviews that said it smelled like coppertone, however it does not at all. It is way too floral, just smells like flowers. Very disappointed and will be returning.
