It's a mess of "modernism"

I was curious about the author, wanted to get to know her better, to try to see into her mind. The rambling monologue/dialogue attempted to support the illustrations, but it's just a mess. Looks like 99% of it is intended to shock the reader. Maybe one of her other books would give more insight into her.
