I picked up a vintage bat at a sale and wanted to display it as art in my home office. The brackets were well priced, easy to install, and look great!

Good bat display but with some opportunities for improvement
I took off one star for two reasons. First: The anchors they give you are fine, but I found the screws to be a little short. The screws are about 1.25 inches, but they sink into the anchors about a half inch before the thread catches, and you need to leave about 1/4 inch of the screw out for the mount to catch and be snug to the wall. This doesn’t leave much to secure into the anchor. I swapped them out for 1.75” screws and this made the mounts much sturdier. This was not a big deal for me but worth mentioning if you’re relying on the hardware provided. Second: If you mount each bracket at the exact same height, there’s a possibility your bat will look slightly crooked on the wall due to how the brackets are made. You can solve for this by installing one mount first and using the bat to choose the height of your second mount. Again, not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Despite the two points above, this is still a 4.5 star mount, especially for the price, and I’d purchase it again.

Self Defense Bat Holder
The quality is much nicer then I thought it would be for the price. It holds my 29 inch, 2-1/4 inch barrel bat that's for self defense, very well. It also holds my custom 29 inch, Cocobolo Police baton well. Easy & quick access.
