I could not find a glass jar that would fit, but when I was looking I found that a pint size canning jar will work great if you put the top into the jar opening. It will slide down just enough that if fits snug enough to let me use the grinder. The grinding is mixed; the fine rotation with narrow blades hitting the nuts first will still produce large pieces and coarse rotation with wider blades will still produce dust-like pieces. There is no perfect solution for this as food processors and electric grinders produce the same results. This is a bit better than an electric grinder as it is easy to see/alter the movement to check the size but the intake container is small. This is great for small amount like toppings.
