Lovely book very interesting and informative.

Fantastic little book.I have many books on herbal remedies etc but this is a really fascinating one ,with many recipes from history or folklore that ive never seen before,and interesting historical notes.Id recommend this for anyone into herbal remedies/cosmetics as something different

Lovely book bought as a present but went and bought one for myself

We absolutely love owning this series of beautiful books. They are full of activities that I can do with my daughter (10). We have really enjoyed foraging the garden for rose petals and herbs and I’m happy to buy a few additional elements to make some of the more complicated recipes. We have made dog biscuits, basil & lemon surface spray, after sun lotion (which is amazing!), mouthwash and even have our first ever batch of home made jam steeping in the kitchen. We are both having great fun learning and it fills us both with joy to create these wonderful potions and products from our garden and the countryside. Totally recommend these books as easy and accessible experiments into exploring the world of home made, garden apothecary.

Love this book as much as its predecessor! Lots of information on plants and their uses, easy accessible recipes and clear written language. Everything is beautifully presented and the recipes I've tried so far have been fairly easy to make and have had wonderful effects!

Upon receiving the book I flicked through it and am extremely happy with the purchase. Beautiful illustrations and very detailed and interesting information on many herbs etc. I am glad I chose this as a gift. May even buy one for myself as well.
