The numbers that told how many inches out of level on lower vial are no longer there. I only replaced the hinge portion that broke on my older one.

This little level works as well as most. Though it is fairly large to be mounted on the outside of an RV I think. To take care of this problem I mounted it on the inside of my LP gas bottle door. Not only is it out of the way it is protected from the elements. It remains easy to use as I only have to open the door when raising or lowering the 5th wheel to see the level.

I realized that after receiving this item, that it was made more for 5th wheelers and not for tent trailer or smaller camping trailers. But with a bit of ingenuity, I have modified it to sit upright on the floor, and while pointing it towards each of the trailer's front corners, I can level my tent trailer by utilizing this method. I just set it on the floor with the bubble directed at a 45 degree angle toward each of the front and rear corner jacks and when that corner is indicating true level, I turn it towards the other front corner, and repeat the same jacking action, and VOILA! One level tent trailer! The arched bubble is a really good design for the level! Excellent product for the price!

It is not possible to mount it so as to get consistent level reading and as far as the swing out part of it to check the level of the front of the camper the hinge's are too loose for a good reading. After saying this I do still use this to get ne somewhere close to level.

Either I am not using this correctly or it is just not holding the level. When I come back to put the unit onto the truck hitch even though the level shows it should be at the correct height I consistently need to raise the unit by a substantial amount. I'll keep trying.

This is a very good concept but the memory bubble is too difficult to get aligned. If the memory bubble was thinner, perhaps this would have been 5 stars.

The adjustable level is so sensitive that you can not get it to stop moving. That is the reason I purchased it and that part is bad.
