Great Gray Coverage (Trade Secrets of a Haircolor Expert)

I don't even know where to start...this book is amazing! Really AMAZING! I could not put the book down when I started reading. I've learned so many new tricks of the trade. David Velasco wrote this in simple terms so that you can understand every step. He tells you what to do, why to do it that way, and what to do for a color correction. This book has help me set the foundation of understanding haircolor. Because this book helped me so much I did end up buying all of his other books and I'd have to say they are all GREAT! If you don't have all the confidence in doing haircolor I recommend you get all his books. I wish they would've given me these books when I was in school, it would've saved so much heartache. RSelt

I bought this book at the original price but it has paid for itself. Gray coverage is a very tricky thing and as my clientele has gotten older, I need to know everything I can about gray coverage. Professional classes are quite expensive and the info gleaned can fade over time. When I have questions, I pull out this book (I keep it at work) and invariably my question is answered. I recommend it highly to anyone who is looking for a way to service the growing baby boomer clientele. It is a valuable resource book.

"No one but your hairdresser knows for sure", was an expression before we really knew... for sure. Now David has let the cat out of the bag and we can all know the secrets of coloring gray hair that will create raves. Even post-boomers are turning gray, making this book a must have for everyone wanting to put youthful life back into their clients gray hair. This is a one-of-a-kind book. You must have this grey coverage book. It is the only way you will get a successful color accomplished on grey hair. Dave shares the tips ands tricks to get full coverage each and every time. This is an excellent book! His books are books that should be used in Cosmetology school. You do not learn these things in school. We have graduated Cosmetologists that do not understand color, working in the real world where many that understand color are not willing to share their secrets. Thank you, David for sharing what many will not because they feel threatened!!!!
