AKG K240 Studio Headphones Black, , K240Studio, Over Ear, Wired

I have a blackstar tube guitar amp and the AKG K240 pairs perfectly for practice session daily. Best part is that is is semi open back so the sound is crisp and well balanced without any processing most other headphones on the market do. The guitar Mids and high notes sound amazing. I also use the K240 to listen to music with my Ipod. The K240 headphone is super light and Ear buds are so comfortable that you hardly feel it on the head. Another great bonus is the long 3m cable and it easily pops out of the main head unit as due to its xrl connection

I love this pair of heaphone, soundstage is very open of course this is depending on your gear but nevertheless you can actually drive this easily, they're not the 600ohms edition. Very open wide soundstage, highs are crystal clear, mids and vocals are nice too but if you're a basshead, I don't know if you'll like this. It has a bass just subtle ones. And buy a replaceable pads for these, tried the stocks it hurts my ear for a few hours. Yeah that's only downside I saw.

Básicos pero más que suficientes en el estudio. Bastante planos, lo cual los hace ideales para mezcla y masterización. Incluso para disfrutar de la música van bien (aunque ahí quizá le vengan bien un poco de ecualización). Cómodos, muy ligeros. Perfectos para largas sesiones de estudio. Que el cable sea desmontable también es un punto a favor.

This is the best headset I have ever had in my life!! After I have used multiple bass heavy over ear heasets throught my life, even though I was always a classical music lover, when I put on these headsets, I felt that I have come back to my roots once again! I have never felt more nostalgic putting on a headset before! To me true music should always have more focus on the mid freqiencies and a more flat soundstage instead of having very high mids and treble. Apart from its crystal clear sound quality because of which there is great instrument seperation for studio and monitoring purposes, I love the headset due to its nostalgic golden looks, and its comfort, due to the semi-open and light weight body and push back leather head band(even though the leather ear pads tend to be a bit warm), with high quality 3m long cables. In short, these headsets are best for true music lovers (mainly classical & good sustain effect when plugged in to digital piano using the 6.3mm jack, especially for the main treble area were more emphasis is needed) but would be unsuitable for bass heavy rap tunes.

Ótima definição, muito leve e confortável , tenho a sensação de ser muito durável, tem cabo longo destacável com conector mini xlr, é fácil de alimentar sem problemas, mas se tiver um bom amplificador de fones, os graves ficam bem definidos. O volume é alto, use com moderação. Não deixou nada a desejar, muito satisfeito. Recomendo fortemente.

Sound quality is great but you need a fairly quiet room to get the most out of these. Using them in a room with a or a fan running reduces your ability to hear what's coming out of them due to the open back design. Sound from mobile devices tends to be on the quieter side but hooked up to my audio interface they drive really well. Would reccomend for a studio or desk environment bit not so much for on the go. Sound bleed is very high again due to the open back design. Things to consider but these are a legendary headphone from a good brand and they still hold up.
