I bought a couple of these airhorns just to blast telephone solicitors! Keep them near the landline phones and I'll probably get a couple more, one for the car. Incredibly loud but really small for this type of product. These are a better buy for me than larger airhorns. I hope to puncture a few eardrums or blow up some robocallers.

Just what I hoped for

The idea that this is a party horn is absurd! I gave a short little blast (less than a second) outdoors just to see how loud it is. I had my finger in one ear, and pointed the horn away from me, and it still hurt my ears. This would be good for a distress signal or maybe to run bears away, but NOT for fun, and NOT for indoors. Whatever you do, don't point this at somebody unless you want to hurt them.

The air horn was cheap, light to carry, and loud. I bought it to train my dog not to chase cars. (Piper doesn't like loud noises). My friend whose land borders on the national forest was having trouble with bears going after his garbage and scaring his pets. So I lent him the air horn. Sure enough, a bear showed up. One blast from the horn sent it skeedattling. Pretty nifty product, but next time I'll buy a bigger one with more air so it lasts longer.

This little thing is great! I bought it because the neighbors next door have 5 kids that they send outside first thing when the sun comes up and keep them out there until sundown. Five little screamers can get mighty distracting while working from home. When they get really loud, I go outside and give this thing a few pumps and they shut right up. Rude? Maybe... Effective? Definitely. I 100% will buy this item again.

This product is a life saver. Neighbors dog will not stop yapping!!! I just want to be in my backyard to sit at peace and i have to hear this annoying bark every time I slide the door open and it knows we are back there. I won't stop even though we've lived here for 3 years now. I tried the whistle and nothing. I tried vinegar spray and nothing. I tried talking to the neighbor and nothing. There's a flapping door that the dog goes in and out of when it wants whenever it wants. BUT NOW!!!! I have peace! yesterday i was out there and it was non stop again yapping..I blew the horn once and i'm not saying a light push...I gave the horn a nice push and it stopped!!!!! i didn't hear the dog the rest of the time i was out there!!!!! I have two dogs of my own and a huge dog lover. I'm very considerate when they start to bark and wish others were the same. Unfortunately that's not the case. I have my peace back! It did the job I bought it for. I am not a mean hearted person at all so, those scam artists and telemarketers should have listened when I asked politely the first time to put me on their "Do not call" list. They didn't and got blasted when they called back!!! Needless to say, the calls have dropped immensely. I think it's the best investment I've ever made!! I live in a 4 family home, 2 of which have dogs and it hasn't bothered them at all🙂
