I'm pretty sure they must have forcefully taken off a plastic layer on the back of the case that isn't meant to be taken off. It's kind of obvious what to do, but I guess I can see how that can be mistaken. Only one protective film comes off. It comes off easy.I wanted a minimal case, so I can put this down on the table without having to worry about wrecking my phone. I really like how this case looks on my phone. No bulk added. The rest of the case is clear, which is perfect because I could print photos and put them between the case and phone using it as a photo frame. It is better than buying a case with a design on it because I can change the photo anytime.(photos will need trimmed to fit)The case is about a 1/16th inch to 1/8th inch thick, shiny and smooth. Perfect for me because I always keep my phone in my front pocket, easy to put in and take out.
