I bought this for two reasons. First I wanted a cheap but good quality fixed blade and second I wanted one with a tek-lock system. There aren’t many options with tek-lock so I bought this knife. I’m over all impressed with the quality of the blade, it’s for self defense so it’s not going to be getting used much. The retention of the knife in the sheath is perfect. It holds securely without being a pain to draw it. The balance on retention is tough on holsters and this one is very good. The tek-lock system is solid, had some trouble installing the tel-lock to the sheath, thought I was crazy with not being able to match the holes with the screws. Then I realized they matched the screw/hole pattern lower down the sheath then higher up near the retention part. Overall I’m happy and would buy another knife from this manufacturer.

Double edged and nice scabbard to keep knife secure

Seems S&W and Wartech are very close to the same blades however the S&W comes with a lacking sheath. Wartech has a nice Kardex sheath. So, with that said I need to mention the clip included is for belts; Not Molle.

I like everything about this, feels sturdy

This knife has a great feel and design to it and seems to be durable enough to last. The sheath locks in place very well and holds the knife securely. The blade had a good edge on it and the handle has nice texture and fits my hand well. Overall I would recommend this knife if your looking for a inexpensive boot or backpack knfie.

Photo:25 degree edge on top, stock edge on bottom. This knife does a good job on sheath and handle, but they have unfortunately put a 35+degree edge on it that barely rips though 20lb copy paper. This edge is therefore completely unsuitable for a self defense knife, unless you have significant sharpening/grinding experience, have a powered sharpener, and don't mind spending hours regrinding the edges to a proper 20-25 degrees (which I did). If it wasn't for the edge grind issue, I'd pick this knife/sheath solution over pricier yet less overall capable dagger/sheath offerings from Schrade, Kershaw and SOG, largely due to the superior sheath. WarTech/KCCEDGE, put a proper 25 degree edge on this blade and I'd not only recommend it, but I'd give it 5 Stars!

Product was great minus ONE detail. Only came with one screw to attache the molle plate to the actual knife sheath. Definitely needed a bare minimum of two. Luckily I had some spare screws from some old molle serpa holsters which fit after I drilled some bigger holes in the backing plate.
