Why isn't the length of the power cord included in the item description? That is an important detail.

I just got mine abs the cord length is fine. Use an extension cord if you don't have many outlets to plug into. GREAT MOP!!!!

Anyone else unable to successfully register this product? The model number isn't an option on the Bissell registration page?

Can I use other cleaning fluids?

NO. You can, HOWEVER, keep in mind that their formulas are preferred for a reason. I had a Bissell SpotBot and tried to save money by using both a cheaper solution and a home made solution. Turns out that it voids your Warranty when the machine stops working or begins dumping clean or dirty fluid all over the place. One of the solutions I used caused a rubber seal somewhere in the machine to disintegrate and when I sent the machine in for warranty repair they refused to fix it. Bissell knew right away from the damage that was done to the machine that I used a solution other than Bissell. So, short answer, no. Don't use anything except what is made for your particular machine by Bissell Company unless you want to void your Warranty

How big of an area can be cleaned before you need to switch out the pads?
