Prior posts stated they got a plastic one. This particular one from Aoshima is a good quality die-cast. Two tripple A batteries are required, if not placed in correctly then the propellers may not work. It can be touchy, if they stop a gentle tap on the bottom gets em going again. As with any die-cast, the extra parts are delicate. I'm an 80's kid and used to play with the Ertl one while anxiously waiting for the next new episode to come on. This brought back some good memories. I found myself making Airwolf sounds and flying it around the room. All they need to do is come out with an HX-1 and a Redwolf and its battle time. Main blade is not a tight fit on the shaft.
