Purchased for Lenovo laptop. • Installation was easy, and worked from first boot. • Memory units have now been operating smoothly for over a week. • Rapid delivery from seller. Suitably packaged. Additionally validated the memory in Synology NAS device. Perhaps will procure another batch of same item at a later date - if the NAS requires a boost.

I bought it for mid2012 MacBook pro and its works like charm

I was skeptical for two reasons: I don't have amazing manual dexterity so I don't usually like taking apart phones or laptops, etc. and I didn't know if it would actually effect my laptop positively but really wanted to try it since the stock RAM was basically MATCHING the amount of RAM required to run the operating system since 2017 updates (approximately). However, the install was VERY easy - it actually didn't read the 2nd RAM slot after my first try and I just re-opened it and secured it better - no problem. Secondly, my laptop is very fast again which makes me super satisfied! My startup time is still slow on my Early 2011 version of Macbook Pro, but once it is all started up - my speed is great for such an old laptop that I've had since college!

Installed this in iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011) w/ 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 and AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB. Had this computer for more than 10yrs, but hadn't started it up 2019. It powered up just fine at first, then it shut off suddenly and started the 3-beep sequence. I looked it up and was surprised it had to do with memory since I've worked on computers for a while and never heard of that being an issue, especially for Mac. I accessed the memory and shuffled it around a couple times, but the error persisted. These were just a couple of 4gb Hynix modules that had to of been original to the computer. Saw that many were upgrading in excess of the 16gb recommended by Apple, so decided I would try the 8gb stick to see if they did the trick, and OH YEAH they make a huge difference. Even though Apple's not allowing any more upgrades, this thing is blazing with High Sierra. Will be adding another 16gb soon to max it out at 32gb. For about $20 it's a no brainer! If they're compatible with your model I would advise you to grab them ASAP to breath some new life into your old iMac. Next I'm going to work on upgrading the video card and display because this i7 is working like a champ!
