A great tool to have if your stripping wire. Has made the job so easy for me, just be careful not to add to much pressure to the tool when stripping the outer covering it cuts into the covering very easy.

I am an electrician, and bought this for stripping Romex. I started using it stripping pieces of Romex for tailing out. I would recommend doing this until you get a good feel for it, as it will cut the insulation on the wires if you cut the insulation too much. The wire stripper works great as well. I lost the little plastic piece that adjusts the amount you strip. It's not a huge deal, but it's why I didn't rate it any higher.

Does exactly what it claims, very easy to use

Conceptually this stripper is a good idea, but the sharp blade which is very sharp but also very thin, bends and breaks easily. If the stripper had a replaceable blade it would be a great tool. I was only able to use my tool so many times and then the blade became damaged.

A very good cable stripper for removing outer insulation from 3 & 2 core cable wires. Blades r sharp & easily cut into the insulation. Very simple design & nicely made.

I have tried this on numerous cables and have had perfect results every time. No more stabbing or cutting my fingers. Worth every penny. So easy to use. Well made little device.
