It's small enough it doesn't take up precious counter space in my tiny kitchen but works very well. it responds quickly, is easy to read, and also stays on for a long time. long enough to finish prepping what you need to weigh. I've had other scales that turn off so soon, they are useless. I also find the button to toggle between valves very helpful, as some food labels have grams and some do not. I uses it every meal. I find a dinner plate too large to read the label, but a large salad bowl is great, as is a salad plate. I've also used it to weigh out ingredients when I bake and love that.
