MUCK Women's Arctic Sport II Mid Boot

The PERFECT boots for my barn yard. Easy to get on and off. The mud can be sprayed off with a garden hose. True to size and very comfortable. I use these for all seasons. In the winter they keep my feet nice and toasty. Great quality at a great price.

I hunt. These will be my hunt boots. No laces, slip right in - WOOT! Squirt them off to clean them. I'm 5'5" but have abnormally short little legs (long torso), so while these are the mid-calf height, they are almost as tall on me as the tall ones are on a person with normal length legs. Because my feet are square, I usually order a size up, which in this case is an 8. There's just enough room in the toe box to wear thicker socks and still get a toe warmer pack in there (stick it to the top of the boot OVER the toes, then you're not walking on the thing and having it ball up under your toes). Yup, they're pink/purple (I kind of like that!). But they'll be under my camo and I'll be in a ground blind, and I'm pretty sure the deer won't care what color they are! These Arctic Sport II's came highly recommended by the only other woman hunter in our group of 35 for their warmth and comfort. I'll update my review after I sit in the usually sub-zero temps during hunt here in Northern MI to say whether they're warm or not. Fingers crossed!

I am currently experiencing my first winter in Northern Vermont. These boots have been AMAZING! I was on the fence about getting these or Bogs but these won out because I snagged then on sale for a bit cheaper than the Bogs. (My SiL has Bogs and she loves them too) I've been outside in -20 temps and my feet have stayed comfortable with thin boot socks on. I cannot feel the cold radiating through my soles. The traction on ice and snow is amazing too. My feet have no issue gripping as I work and walk about outside. (We've got some serious ice build up so this is a major win point for me.) They are actually pretty comfortable too. There's a cushy built-in liner. I've forgotten my normal "inside shoes" and have had to wear these all day as a result. Other than my feet being a little too toasty, my feet did not hurt after wearing them for 8 hours. ( For perspective: I'm a teacher, have broken about 8 toes over the course of my life, and am on my feet most of the day) I will say when I first tried them on I thought I made a mistake and got the wrong size. I'm a 10 but usually have to size up to an 11 for comfort width/toe box. The boots felt too tight the first day I wore them, but after a few days they've stretched and feel just right. I don't think I'd want to wear the size 10 with thick wool socks as then they would feel tight, but as they keep my feet warm just fine without them I won't have to worry. I think sizing up would have been a mistake for me. Great boots if you live/work in a frigid place!

This is my 2nd pair of Muck Arctic Sport Mid boots and I LOVE LOVE LOVE these!! They are so durable and warm, and are easy to wash off because they’re waterproof. They have great traction to keep me from slipping on ice. And mostly, I love the fit. Unlike some of the other brands, they feel like they are foot-shaped and have a bit of flexibility in the ankle area that makes them comfortable to walk in. They also have a slightly loose fit, which allows for wearing thick wool socks for ultimate warmth.

These boots were perfect for me. Easy on and off. Warm in the winter and great for spring mud season. Sturdy and easy to clean.

They do work good to keep my feet noticeably warm but the most disappointing thing is that my feet literally freeze if I am squatting for any length of time, like more than a minute or two. I think the material just compresses on the top of my toes and transfers all the cold to them. I wanted to mention this temperature transfer but must also mention that I do have Reynaud's so my feet tend to be significantly colder than most. Because of my cold issues, I was willing to pay for a quality pair of boots that would keep my feet warm when outside for hours. These do work okay but really not that great given the $120+ price tag. The boots do seem to run just a little large but that is a good thing for winter boots. Wearing snug boots with thick socks gave me chillblains and tissue damage a few years ago. Now, every winter, I get chillblains if my feet get too cold. The extra roominess with this pair helps with keeping my feet warmer and chillblain free. I usually wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 and have plenty of room for extra thick socks. They do feel too big if wearing super thin or no socks but not so much that I can't walk in them, it's just enough to be awkward and kind of annoying. I really wanted to LOVE them but, honestly, I just like them given how much I paid for them. I will pay for quality and these are quality boots, just not quite what I was hoping for given the reviews. Amazon now has some for $69 though and they are totally worth that price! Public service announcement, as shared with me by doctor... Snug, cozy, and warm feet are not happy feet. Roomy and cozy feet are warm and happy feet. I'm an avid reader and somehow missed this information my ENTIRE life. Please order roomy boots and save yourself from this annoying and painful condition!

Most of the time, reviews for winter/cold weather gear is written by people in the lower 48. "I wore these expedition weight wool socks around downtown Asheville when it was 30F and my feet stayed warm!" That's great, lady, but that's not a good review of an item like that. Anyway, all that to say: this is a REAL WINTER REVIEW for these boots. As I'm writing this, it's -50F here in the middle of Alaska and these boots are still performing. I've taken these things snowmachining and caribou hunting at -20 and I wore a thin liner sock and a thick wool blend on top of that, and my feet were pretty near perfect all day. I just wore them out for 4 hours at -50 to do a site inspection with just thick wool socks (no liner) and my feet are the only part of me that I can still feel. Let's be real, any longer exposure than that to those temps and the durability of these boots will be the least of your worries. Another thing that strikes me about these is how comfortable they are. They don't force you to walk with an awkward gait like a lot of stiff boots do. They're just structured enough through the foot/ankle and just flexible enough through the shaft to make it easy to schlep through knee deep snow while you're looking for caribou tracks (or the mailbox, whatever.) Sizing is pretty consistent for a boot, especially one of this caliber. Of course if you're not wearing these with a thick sock you shouldn't really be wearing them at all, so if you try them on barefoot or with a thin crew sock they will probably feel a little roomy. I wear mine with the thickest Carhartt wool blend socks you can find and my feet are perfectly comfortable. There's plenty of room to allow blood and air flow but they're definitely not coming off unless I want them to. I wear a women's 11 in sneakers and 10-10.5 in heels. I got these in an 11 and they're a perfect fit (again, with thick socks.) I don't consider them abnormally heavy, either, and I'm very sensitive to unnecessary bulk on shoes (looking at you, Chaco sandals.) So that's that. I've replaced my standard winter boot with these puppies, AND I've actually tried them in a setting for which they are designed! Hey! Imagine that. Sorry, hypothetical Lisa from Knoxville, your reviews on true cold weather gear aren't worth much.

very warm in single digit winters, good for rain and snow and feet stay completely dry. I have larger calves so was worried about these fitting over my calves/getting them on and off but they fit fine with some extra space and go on and off easily. I would recommend tall socks or leggings underneath as the front upper part rubbed my shin raw the first time I wore them, but no blisters or discomfort in the foot area after wearing them all day at work and walking around in them.

Uso questi stivali da anni ma gli ultimi acquistati sono veramente pessimi ….usati poco e si sono aperti in un punto che mostra proprio un difetto di fabbrica…costano un occhio della testa non è possibile una cosa del genere…

These boots are awesome, so good I have lived in them all winter. Really solid, chunky sole, very comfortable, and true to size. Some reviews mention issues with calf room.....if you are of regular/average build they will be perfectly spacious in the leg and not remotely tight or too loose. Unlike wellies and standard muck boots these have kept my feet warm even when standing in mud and water for hours.

Not well made and lots of glue around seams making them look cheap. The boot itself was very wide

Bequem, nicht so schwer, einfach zum Rein- und Rausschlüpfen, warm, trocken, super! Da lohnt sich der Preis, für ein paar Gummistiefel 117€ ist ja nicht gerade billig, aber sie sind wirklich das Geld wert. Ich laufe viel mit dem Hund und teste sie hardcore, aber sie machen alles mit! Trittfest im Matsch, rutschen nicht vom Fuss beim Rennen, bleiben immer warm ohne dass man im eigenen Saft läuft. Bin ganz verliebt... Ich hoffe sie bleiben lange so! Update: Trage jetzt die Stiefel seit einem Jahr und 4 Monaten. An der Ferse hat sich die Polsterung komplett aufgelöst, eine harte Innenschicht ist wie gebrochen & reibt bei 10 Minuten Tragen ein Loch in jede Socke. Meine Fersen sind offen & blutig, die Schuhe untragbar geworden! Am Zeh habe ich dieses Problem schon länger, alles Gepolsterte ist weg und man läuft auf dem blanken Gummi. Aber wenigstens waren da keine harten Kanten zum Wundscheuern. Von außen sind die Stiefel immer noch top, dicht, nur an einer Stelle hat sich eine Verklebung der Sohle leicht gelöst aber nicht dramatisch. Das Innenleben löst sich halt auf an den Stellen die am meisten beansprucht werden, bis man sie wegschmeissen muss weil es schmerzhaft wird! Sehr enttäuschend! Hat man auch auf Schuhe 2 Jahre Gewährleistung? Auf 117€ teure Gummistiefel…? 🤔
