It works! Honest!
I was obviously sceptical reading these two reviews, so I bought mine at the mall so I could return it when it didn't work. I plugged it in and it works fine (M130, Windows XP). Perhaps the secret is to install the cradle and all the software, get that working and then swap out the cradle for this cable. Not sure what the problem is... it does what it says on the box.
