Calphalon Single Pot Rack Hooks, Set of 2

We bought the Calphalon Pot Rack and these extra 2 hooks at the same time. We knew we'd want to hang more than 4 pots/pans as soon as we put it up. The rack is perfect and the hooks work very well. The hooks stay put once you slip them onto the rack too. LOVELY and now the half dozen pots/pans we use daily are at our finger tips - no digging them out of the lower cabinets - YEA! I have 2 Calphalon pot racks and when I get the second one, Mr. el-cheapo here decided to save some money and get non-Calphalon pot rack hooks that would cost less. So, I get everything set up, begin using BOTH the Calphalon and non-Calphalon hooks, and after several months of the non-Calphalon hooks SLIDING and MOVING EVERY time we removed or tried to hang up one of the pots, I was threatened by my other half that she would begin cooking again unless I solved the problem. There IS a reason that Calphalon hooks work well with the Calphalon pot rack. They are made for each other as the hooks, if you want them moved, must be PHYSICALLY slid along the rack to the desired position. You cannot move them by hanging a pot up and then trying to move both pot and hook. It just doesn't work. The most irritating thing about the non-Calphalon hooks is that although they would probably work fine with another type of pot rack, they had a tendency to slide when you didn't want them to, or come off the rack still attached to the pot, or....most irritating....would come off the rack, unhooked from the pot and fall to the floor. Very simply, these hooks were NOT designed to work with a Calphalon pot rack. So I purchased 6 more of the Calphalon Single Pot Rack Hooks with the result being the hooks stay in place, the hooks don't come loose and fall to the floor, AND my other half is NOT COOKING!!! My first Calphalon Pot rack proved to be an absolute gem came with 4 hooks. If you buy this rack, plan to purchase a few more of the hooks. These hooks are heavy, bent at an angle that will keep them in place and have an excellent chrome finish. Well worth the price.

I like this pot rack so much. It’s perfect for my pots and pans and sturdy. I did order extra hooks for it as it didn’t come with enough.

I purchased the Calphalon 20x56 rack from CutleryAndMore because Amazon wouldn't match their lower price. I love the rack. These hooks fit it fine, but aren't exactly the same as the ones that came with the rack. I hesitated to buy hooks at Amazon because of the reviews saying they don't fit. I returned some of these hooks I got at a local BedBathBeyond because they did not fit. Looks like Amazon may have some new stock that fixed the problem. July2005 update - I bought another set of these from Amazon, and one of the hooks was too small to fit on my rack. Looks like a manufacturing problem. Took me about 5min with a metal file to make it fit. I'd still buy them because I can't find anything else that works for this rack. If someone has come up with alternatives please post.

Haven't specifically used these new ones but have had a Calphalon pot rack in a previous home, the hooks are perfect. Find the notch on the rack and slide these on; push them aside and they automatically lock on. When you remove a pot or pan, the hooks stay on the rack. Perfect!

I matched up my pot rack with one on this site to make sure I bought the right hooks since I wasn't sure if they were universal. I got two packs of these to add to what was already on the rack. It was installed by the previous owners. The 4 additional hooks were just what we needed to space everything out and balance the weight across the rack itself. This was a very good purchase that helps us on our way to reorganizing the kitchen one small improvement at a time.

I really wanted the version of this hook that has a 90 degree bend in it but apparently Calphalon doesn't make them anymore. This was the second choice and my husband bent them for me like I wanted them. These hooks are strong. I've had most of mine for 16 years now; they'll hold up any pot you have.

Very pleased with the simple design that keeps it from moving or falling off. I also wish they had simply included more in the original set with the hanging bar I own. Very pleased overall, though I have some idea on the margins on a bent piece of metal combined with the lack of enough in the base set to deduct one star.
