Kingston DataTraveler Kyson 256GB High Performance USB 3.2 Metal Flash Drive | Speeds up to 200MB/s | DTKN/256GB

I've had the Kingston 256gb USB for good while now. And it works flawlessly. It is very fast probably the fastest usb I have ever had. Quite impressive. If I have any issues in the future I will update this review. But I've had many Kingston drives over the years and none have failed yet.

I like using the Kingston USB Flash Drives because of their reliability, never had any trouble with data for years. I also like their thin profile, being thin allows me to use them in anything, as being a gamer a lot of people will know that trying to plug a USB into the front of a PS4 it just does not work, you have to pull out your console and plug the USB into the back USB slot. However, with Kingston you do not have to worry about that, as these will plug into tight spaces, and the front of a PS4. There was a local store that carried these in various sizes, I would buy them there, but now they switched their entire USB selection to another Brand Name USB Flash Drive of which I know does not fit into the front of a PS4, so now Amazon will have my business.

Fast I/O speeds and so far it’s been reliable

Second purchase of this model of USB flash drive. Great value, trusted brand. Read speeds on my two silicon Macs exceed the 200MB/s advertised. Tested with USB3.2 Gen 2 hub. Write speeds are slower and a bit inconsistent, running around 70-100MB/s. If you absolutely need fast write speeds, it's not ideal. But otherwise, nothing to complain about!

I buy these metal-cased USB keys almost exclusively now. I put them on keychains to carry documents and data with me. The car keys don't bang these up the way a plastic thumb drive would. Stick with a name brand (e.g., Kingston) though as some of the no-name imports are not durable.

Funcionó de maravilla y pude usarla para lo que necesitaba. Si bien el espacio real es de 230 GB, me fue suficiente porque todo cabe en esta USB y la velocidad es fiel. En el puerto USB 3.0 transfería los archivos del PC al pendrive a 20 MB/s promedio.

Guter USB-Stick. Die Schreibgeschwindigkeit ist nicht besonders hoch, aber das gilt auch für viele andere USB-Sticks.

256 gb partout c’est un pan de sa vie qu’on prend avec soi. On a clairement beaucoup d’espace de dispo, je transporte essentiellement ma musique, 2/3 films pour le train ou l’avion, et quelques apps et jeux! Le transfert se fait super bien mais soudainement on arrive a la limite du controleur de la clé usb et le débit de transfert souffre grandement, 120 GB de musique (playlist de soirée) transférée en 45min, 4 films en 15, et 4 dossiers apps et jeux en 35. Le transfert est pas du style à démarrer en rush lorsqu’on vous attend pour une soirée ;) ! Après ça fait quelques mois que c’est un sécurité attachée sur le porte clés 🔐 ! Job’s done !
