Perfectly Functional for the Price
I have thick, mid-length, curly hair that clogs all pipes and ruins all vacuums. I wanted to buy a new drain when I moved into my new apartment to catch hair instead of letting it go straight into the pipe, but quickly discovered that I have a really old tub and traditional drains don't work. (There's a hook in the middle of the drain that you have to plug into. It's weird. I don't know much about drains.) Nonetheless, I couldn't buy a new drain, or anything that goes INTO the drain, so I was going to have to get a cover. I shopped around before getting this one. I didn't want to have to return anything, didn't want it to be an eyesore, and wanted it to work. I was tired of buying things for the apartment, didn't want to take specific measurements on my drain, how close it was to the tub, etc. This seemed like the safest bet. And it works! It's clear, not white, so I feel like it's less noticeable. It's not invisible by any means, but I don't catch sight of it out of the corner of my eye and wonder what fell into my tub. I read a couple reviews about stepping on it, but I've never had a problem. It is wider than the drain, but not by that much. Unless you already have problems stepping on your drain or really close, you shouldn't have a problem. There are two layers to this. To the best of my knowledge, and how I use it, you are supposed to use both at the same time, and they just go right on top of each other, and the whole thing goes over the drain. It doesn't really STICK to the floor of the tub the way a suction cup holder would stick to a window. There's some stick to it, but not much. That being said, my hair hasn't been getting under it and slipping into the drain. It's very flexible. I didn't measure anything before getting this, but my drain looks pretty average. Because it's so flexible I'd imagine it fits most reasonable drain sizes. I've been using this for about 2 months now. Every week or so I need to pick it up and get some hair out from between the layers and from around the edges. I picked it up yesterday and noticed it was getting a little dingy, so next time I clean my bathroom, I'll be sure to drop it into a little bleach solution and get it nice and clean again. Again, for reference, I have thick curly hair that has clogged many tubs! It's just me using this shower. In an ideal world, I would have been able to get a nice metal drain that was attractive and didn't need any special cleaning other than cleaning your shower like normal. But if you have a tub like mine and that isn't an option, this is perfect alternative that is cheap, functional, and low-maintenance.

Best hair catcher ever made!
This hair catcher is the absolute best. I've been using it for almost 10 years. It was previously available at a store near me, but when they stopped carrying it I thankfully found it on Amazon. The suction cups keep it from floating away and letting stray hairs float on down the drain. It fits perfectly over the drain in my tub. With 4 people in the house taking daily showers this hair catcher is a must. It traps WAY more hair than the other products I've tried over the past few months. I clean it about ever 3 days or the trapped hairs won't let water drain. I cringe when I think about how much hair got down my drain while I was trying other catchers.

Does the Trick
It doesnt keep hair out completely, but for the most part it does a good job. I use it in my shower when I'm washing my long, course, coily hair. It keeps hair from going down the drain however, the slit like holes in it will allow some strands to slip through. Not that big of a deal, but if you want total blockage its a no-go, but it comes pretty close. Know that it may not cover your drain completely. My shower drain was too big for it, but the bathroom sink drain fit under it nice. (I still used it in the shower, just had to position it a certain way). Also, make sure the surface you're going to stick it to is flat so it will stick. If the drain is too close to the base of a sink or wall, you won't be able to keep it flat and some hair may slip through. Once it sticks (by suction) it's pretty much good to go. I did like it and may purchase again. Oh by the way, I bought it about a year ago and I still have and use it. So thats a plus! ;)

The best hair trap I've found
I feel like I have tried everything out there. I had very little hope for this one as the other ones I bought had great reviews, were more expensive, had fancier designs that seemed to make sense and they had fit perfectly in or over my drain. But nope.. every single hair went UNDER the trap and clogged my shower stall again and again until I bought this product. It looks so simple and cheap.. but it fits perfectly over my huge drain. The hair swirls around in the water and twirls perfectly around the dome of the trap. Nothing gets through the strainer and down into my drain to clog it. It is a very soft material so I dont worry about stepping on it and hurting my feet. I wait until the shower is fully dry, usually the next day, and the hair just comes out all in one round piece and goes into the trash. Super simple! It is also easy to disinfect. The only con is the suction cups do not work at all. Not with my tiled shower stall at least, but honestly it doesn't ever move when I'm showering so it fits all my needs. I love this thing.

Just save time and drop money in the trash can
Junkie flimsy doesn’t stay but in place and doesn’t catch everything. Learn to get them out and clean them off. Your hands are in more of the crap and Hair and Goode and it would’ve been digging down in the drain.

Not Perfect, but Effective
I have an old clawfoot tub and needed something to keep the hair and other gunk from clogging my drain. This product won't stay suctioned to the tub, but still keeps most of the hair from going down the drain. It will stay in place for the most part, but I do need to check it after each shower. Some hair does slip underneath. However, I still think it was worth the money.

Great drain protector
I’ve been using this for several months and love it. I have long hair that previously clogged my tub drain when I used a variety of other drain protectors. It stays put and is easy to clean.
