Fixed wicked clunk when hitting bumps
These bushing were the perfect fix for my 16 escape. was getting a wicked clunk from left rear over bumps. thought it was sway bar end links but still got clunks after replacing those. took it in for oil change, dealership confirmed these bushings were going bad. driver side just fell out (see pic) pass side i just pushed out by hand. def needed to be replaced. These replacements from dorman were a good fit. They need to be pressed in and they need to be set in the proper orientation BEFORE pressing. if yours don't fall out like mine make sure you mark the position of the metal bar relative to the trailing arm. allegedly the position is parallel to the bottom edge of the trailing arm. check youtube. bolt the trailing arm bushing to vehicle first. you can use a floor jack from multiple angles on the knuckle to get the three bottom bolts lined up once the bushing side is bolted up.

Does the thing
Was the right part for a 2017 escape titanium. Old ones hard to get out i cut a slit in the metal with a sawzall then punched it down to bend it and get it out.
