RECCOMENDED BY pro repair shop
Man, I love this stuff! I recently used the Chip Quik Flux to repair a circuit board, and it worked flawlessly. The application is super easy, thanks to the included needle tips, which allow for precise placement without any mess. If you’ve ever struggled with applying flux cleanly, this setup makes a huge difference. It flows well, spreads evenly, and makes soldering a breeze. Seriously u gotta try it! What really sold me on this product was the recommendation from a professional repair shop northbridgfx—and now I see why. The flux activates quickly, helping the solder bond smoothly while preventing oxidation. Whether you’re working on tiny SMD components or larger joints, this stuff just gets the job done. It also cleans up easily with isopropyl alcohol, leaving no sticky residue behind. If you’re into electronics repair, this is a must-have in your toolkit. Just be sure to store it properly to prevent it from drying out, and you’re good to go

Perfect flux at an amazing price
Works great for everything, even bga soldering. It doesn't get too smokey, doesn't smell horrendous, and doesn't become super hard and sticky when burned/heated. It has a nice viscosity, it isn't runny, nor is it too sticky. Cleaning it up is also super easy with isopropyl alcohol. For a flux this quality and this price, you can't go wrong. Great value. It also comes with two tips, one being thinner to apply a more controlled amount.

Makes soldering a lot easier! Will buy again!
I bought this for a micro-soldering job I was going to do for myself. The dispenser works very well and the product flows nicely, and you can clearly see the oxidation of my solder disappear while I have the hot iron on it. Cleaning was simple enough with some ISP but because it's not the easiest one to clean from all the flux I've tried, I decided to dock one star. Still easy, but not the easiest. I've already recommended this solder to my friends. I very much enjoyed it.

Essential to my process now.
Don't know how I was soldering without flux. Badly probably. Inexpensive, flows nice, and easy to apply with the included tips. This flux is extremely helpful, and virtually no cleaning is necessary. The fumes do smell, which is as expected since some types of flux are not safe to inhale so keep your station ventilated and remember to wear your PPE. :)

Great ignoring the plunger issues.
As far as the flux itself, some have said it isn't the same color as in the picture this is true. It's more of a clear white. It works perfectly and I had no trouble using it for replacing a stick box on a controller except for one somewhat annoying issue. The plunger. I retract it a bit to relieve pressure when I have enough flux but instead of going back and doing what it's supposed to with a gentle pull, it pops out or one part or another and I'm wasting flux because no pressure is being relieved. So I wait for it to finish, put the sealed tip back on, and reattach the plunger to the stopper, or the plunger and stopper into the syringe. It only happened two or three times but it really was a nuisance when it did. I totally recommend this Flux but beware I suppose. It was easy to clean any excess with a cotton swab, I just didn't want to waste my flux. To be fair, this one syringe should last me like, 6 months to a year.

Good!
I recently tried the CHIP QUIK NC191 Smooth Flow Tack Flux, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The smooth application made soldering a breeze, and its tacky consistency ensured precise placement. The flux effectively improved solder flow and minimized the chances of solder bridges. I appreciated the overall quality of this product, making my soldering projects more efficient and reliable. Highly recommended for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts!

Flux, my friends! The Game-Changer!
Apparently, I was pretty ignorant. I'd soldered here and there for two decades (XLR connectors, repairing joints for loose connectors on PCBs, etc.), and always struggled and didn't understand why other people could make a joint in a second and I'd have the hold the iron on for what seemed like minutes and still wouldn't get a good joint. Flux! Flux transfers the heat to both pieces and lets the solder melt and flow basically instantly. I just tinned some wire ends both ways - four seconds or so to get solder to flow into the strands with just a wet iron tip, vs half a second with a tiny dab of flux on the wire. Tinned the pads on some WS1812s again in a fraction of a second and then got passable connection to my wires in another second per joint with no flux, just both sides tinned. I am by no means a pro, but I'm beginning to understand how you get to be one. Flux, my friends! Good flux!

Brilliant flux, it’s well worth the money to spend a tad more to get quality! It has made my hobbyist soldering a doddle.

Used this flux for some simple repairs to a PCB with good results but I was lazy and didn't setup my extractor. It was only a small bench job and I;ve used rosin flux in a similar situation without ill effects. However the fumes from this stuff really got to me and was shocked at how toxic they are, leaving me with a sore throat and burning eyes. Don't cut corners with this stuff, use an extractor every time!

Works really good but the fumes are horrendous. I got them for to have for in-field emergency soldering jobs which they are perfect for, but beware of the noxious-smelling fumes.
