This item worked perfectly!
I used the hood for my planted crested gecko terrarium and it did very well at keeping the plants green and lush! The white light was also really nice for the ambience of the tank. I chose a cheaper, repackaged one as well and it worked perfectly.

Reptile educator approved
Zoo med is always excellent. Coming from a reptile educator, these hoods are great for uvb bulbs. They provide a lot of light (with the right bulb) in any tank. Will always recommend these when setting up friends with new family members.

Good quality Geckos love it!
Fits great on our tank very snug! And lights fit great because of the dome shape, we actually have bought two of these because we like them so much!

Great hood
I purchased my Zoo Med terrarium at a local pet store and was debating buying a clip on light or an actual hood like this one. I'm SO glad I got this hood! It looks so much better than a clip on light would have and it works perfectly. It only has one light socket, so if you are looking for something with room for a day and night light, this isn't the hood for you. It's a great deal, and I would recommend it for a basic day light heating bulb.

A little less rust Please
I have 2 of the 12" s and 2 of the 24" I Love the look and the fit and the on and off switchs Wished they were more rust resistant........ The nochs in the 24" on fit my 5.5gals. Perfect but the screws rust pretty quickly

This works great on top of our turtle tank, so good I bought 3 of them. They are slimier and better looking in my opinion than the Exo Terra. Also I like these better than Exo as the cord is in the back along with the switch. The Exo the cord and switch are on the side. They also work great and have had no problems. I have one with a red light, one with a daylight bulb and one with a compact UVB bulb. Highly Recommended!
