Useful, did its job and the plastic broken at the end of our 5 day ski trip
As I mentioned it did its job, very helpful for the kid to pick the pizza or inner eight “八” regardless how you would to call it since the first time skier could not hold the position during the ride. This one greatly helped them and my kid could do a green after couple of days using this one, much better than you continuously roaring at them on the slope. Definitely useful. Similar to other comments, since it is cold out and your kids keep rubbing the little plastic one, at the end of our second day, it started to tearing apart. Not suppress but I was worried about it at that moment. Finally, it broke and it is the time for the little one to ski without it. So, in all. Have an estimate of the kids level, prepare an additional one. You can’t expect this useful 10 buck stuff to last longer than 5 days (from any seller).

It works wonders!
I used three for my three kids, ages 8, 6, and 4. My 4 year old had never skied before and after helping him down the run just one time he was able to ski the rest of the day on his own! These things are worth hundreds of dollars when you consider how well they help to teach kids to ski. I saw countless parents struggling with hoola hoops, leashes, or just plain back breaking holding their kids while skiing. Skip all of that and buy the edgie wedgies. It made my life so easy taking my three very inexperienced kids skiing all on my own. I didn't have any issues with them breaking (don't over torque them) or falling off. Occasionally the Bungie would get looped over and stuck on the screw for my 6 year old (making the distance between skis closer) but it was a minor inconvenience. The only down side is my 4 year old struggled on flat or slight uphills in the lift line. I had to pull him along which was easy enough to do (by hooking the bungee with my ski pole). The older kids had enough leg strength to move in the line while they were still using the edgie wedgie. Buy these, you will not regret it! They are worth 10x the price they are sold for when you have an experience like I did. A full day of skiing, happy and independent kids, and a proud dad! All without frustration and a sore back!

Great product for teaching beginners
Great product. I recently used these with my grandkids, four and six-year-olds. They had never skied before. On the second day they were comfortable doing the beginner run on the chairlift. They are a great visual cue to help remind beginners to keep the wedge position, but as a bonus also restrict the tendency to cross skis. I've taught quite a lot of skiing before and wish I'd had access to these. It would have helped tremendously. Because we rented skis I brought some "Gorrilla" tape (like duct tape) with me and stuck a bit on the tip of the skis to ensure the screws did not do any damage. You need to occasionally retighten the screws because they will loosen. Highly recommend if you plan to teach beginners.

Excellent product that gave my son a lot of confidence ...
Excellent product that gave my son a lot of confidence on the slopes. At first he didn't want to put it on because he thought he could manage without it. But he had trouble getting down the mountain without it; likely because he's only 5 years old and doesn't have the leg strength to do a good wedge. After we put it on, he was able to make it down from top to bottom, including on some milder intermediate runs, without falling. And he's now able to turn and avoid people and other obstacles. These also stay in place very well. In contrast, we also had a set of the Lucky Bums ski connectors, and they did not stay on the skis. I would highly recommend the Edgie Wedgie for any beginner skier.

This is a must-have for teaching little ones to ski! We did struggle with it coming off periodically, but it was worth it. Another great use for this product is hauling them back to the lift. We snagged the line between the clamps with the basket of our ski poles and slid them back to the lift line. Definitely a product to keep for kids!

A must for first time kids...
The EW is a must for the first time child skier. It keeps them from crossing their tips and makes it easy for them to make the “pizza” for slowing down. I can’t imagine trying to teach my 4yo without it. Definitely worth the price. That said, it’s not the most durable plastic and can break with aggressive use but I take the blame since we were taking jumps.

Broke after a couple of uses
This worked great for the first 3 times we used it. My 3 yr old did great with it and it helped a lot to keep her tips together. However, the next time we went to use it one of the clamps just broke in half. Fine for a few uses but didn't last long with minimal use.

Great for teaching kids
This product was a life saver when teaching my little one to ski. It helps a ton and allows the young ones to get a feel for maneuvering on their own. Plus the added benefit of being a bit more hands off. Cons: does leave a small mark in the ski-tip from tightening.
