—— Overview/Summary —— This is the new Meross Touch Bedside Table Light that supports Apple HomeKit (not to be confused with the Meross LED Night Light). This is now my 6th Meross device purchase and third light based product from Meross. This is by far my favourite and I shall be buying another to have one on both bedside tables and maybe even some for guest rooms. The Touch bedside table light is very well made, extremely simple to use and inoffensive to look at. On top of the unit is a single touch button that is very easy to use to turn the lamp on, change the brightness, colour and turn it off. The power cable plugs into the back of the lamp (using a small barrel connector) and runs to a wall outlet. I am currently trialling using the Touch light as a bedside light having replaced the Meross night light (which is now being used in the spare room). Having tried both Meross’s light offerings I think that this is my favourite with its simple and sleek design. One thing worth noting: 1.) As Meross mention on the listing, you cant currently set the true white colour temperatures right now within HomeKit and have to use the Meross app to do this for the time being (they are trying to get this resolved with Apple shortly). ————— Setup ————— The setup process for the Meross Touch Light is straight forward (although I did have to rest the device a couple of times by pressing the touch button for 5 seconds to be able to set it up) when setting up in the Meross App (exactly the same as their other products) or if configured directly into HomeKit. Done using the HomeKit code on the bottom of the unit as it connects directly to Wifi like the rest of Meross’s HomeKit products so far. And thus doesn’t require any annoying hubs and has been an almost flawless experience - I will mention however that I run my Wifi network as separate 2.4 and 5Ghz networks which I think helps the simplicity of setup as Meross devices only support 2.4Ghz networks. —— HomeKit Compatibility —— With a few days of use so far it has worked great with HomeKit and voice control with Siri to turn the light on, change colour and the brightness. However I have primarily been using the great touch button as it is beside the bed. I have had no issues with connection dropping out or range issues and the light responded quickly. As I have noted above in the overview you cant currently set the true white colour temperatures right now within HomeKit and have to use the Meross app to do this for the time being (they are trying to get this resolved with Apple shortly). This isn’t a big issue as the white that HomeKit can set is totally usable and if you want a different white you can quickly change it in the Meross App or by pressing the top touch button. NOTE: The Meross Touch Bedside Light is also compatible with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and SmartThings, however I have not tested these features as I have a HomeKit orientated smart-home and wouldn’t be able to provide any good feedback on that use-case.

This thing’s brilliant. I bought it expecting a bit of a gimmick, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The Meross Smart Lamp looks great, works perfectly, and is surprisingly well made. It fits right in on a bedside table or desk without looking cheap or bulky. The touch controls are smooth, but the real magic is in the WiFi connectivity — I’ve got it synced with HomeKit and it just works. Voice control through Siri, automation at night, dimming schedules — all effortless. You can set the brightness and colour just how you want it, whether you’re winding down or getting up early without blasting yourself with daylight. No lag, no disconnections, no messing around. Setup took minutes. The app works well (rare for smart gear), and it plays nicely with everything I’ve thrown at it. If you want a light that’s subtle, modern, and properly smart, this is an absolute gem. Meross have nailed it with this one.

I love this light! It works perfectly with Alexa so I’ve programmed it to switch on and off by itself at sunrise and sunset. It has a huge range of colours and a nice ‘warm white’ which is kind on the eyes. Four stars only because it is possible to get lights that are a bit brighter - it’s more than bright enough as a table lamp but wouldn’t light a whole room on its own. Update: After 18 months, my light recently stopped working. I was really upset and looked up my purchase history to buy a new one and saw that Meross offer a two year guarantee. I messaged them and after sending a short video and a few more details, a brand new light was delivered to me! I couldn’t be happier! 😊

Excellent product. It's very easy to set up and it connects to your WiFi and phone seemlessly. I've had the light for a year now and I've never had an issue with it. I use it a smart night light for my sons room. It's been easy to setup routines for it and it's allowed me to use it as a sleep training light.

The description of this lamps features was impressive and at the price I thought I would take a chance. Although I've only just received it I must say it really lives up to its claims. I was hesitant about having yet another smart app to install on my Android phone but it did say that it would link to the Amazon Alexa system therefore I wouldn't need to use the Meross app to control the lamp. The lamp looks a quality product and is really well made and not a cheap sub standard product that you can sometimes receive. The setup to my WiFi network via the Meross app was surprisingly easy and within minutes it was connected and the app then offered to link to Amazon Alexa, which it did straight away. Although I downloaded the simple instructions from their website (who can read the little booklets they include now without a magnifying glass?), there was no need as the apps instructions were easy to follow. Alexa works as expected, controlling the colours and brightness, although the app would probably give greater control via the sliders I found Alexa does everything very well when given better thought out instructions. I'm so impressed with this Meross product that I've just ordered their Smart Floor Lamp via their website with a generous discount code and PayPals interest free payment plan.

I have ALLOT of Meross smart plugs, switches and USB extensions and they've been 100% reliable, so when this little gem popped up, I was eager to try it out. Having bought into the Hue system from the beginning, it was very easy to draw direct comparisons to their products. I have a couple of Hue Go's and an Iris, so my comparison will be against those... This has a much smaller footprint, making it easier to put where you want it and because the light is a cylinder, you aren’t forced to direct/aim it like either of the mentioned Hue models. It outshines the GO IMO, but is not as powerful as the Iris, but when you consider the price point = close to half the price of the little Hue and significantly cheaper than the Iris, you really can't go wrong. Alexa integration was easy, and you can ask her for ON, OFF, Colour changes and brightness levels eg. Alexa Ambient light Orange, or Alexa Ambient light 50% Direct (hands on) control of the lamp is much easier than the Hue models, having the little 'touch' button on the top. The lightest of touches gives you these choices... • One touch on' • any subsequent touch will change the colour • Touch and hold will scroll through brightness levels = remove your finger when your happy with the level. • Double touch to turn it off = Simples 😊 To drill into the colours, you need to use the app, but again it's simple; just click on the pencil/edit icon to open the control panel. My wife has of course immediately commandeered this for her bedside table lol All in all, I'm happy to recommend this product! 😊

The Meross range of HomeKit compatible items has finally come to more lighting items. I really like this light, it's very subtle and great to put on a bedside table or the like. It can if needed also go to a very high brightness should you want but I preferred it on a lower brightness. The light is able to set up directly in the Home app with updates via Meross app if you need it. I'd love to see the new iOS 14 ambient lighting feature come to this light as I think it's suited very well for that but alas it is not here at this time. I was impressed with the range of colors, it did struggle slightly with green being more blue but other than that the glow is nice. I also appreciated the top controls on the item which allows for it to be turned off without opening the home app, something often neglected in most smart lights. Overall an impressive light with a very reasonable price tag, it's also the first time I'm seeing this sort of design available with HomeKit. Can recommend.

Absolutely AWFUL automation. These lamps look nice but they just don’t work with the Meross cloud. I purchased 2 of these to sit either side of my living room. They work fine individually and manually. But trying to use them via Alexa is impossible and so frustrating. They don’t even work very well with the Meross app. They either don’t come on at all or one of them comes on and the other doesn’t. Or one will come on and then the other one comes on 30 seconds later. Same thing happens when turning off. I’ve tried resetting them and also tried with different internet services (including 5G) and nothing changes. Given up now and using Philips Hue which is MUCH better. Not happy.

My 10 year old is using this with Alexa beside her bed and its a beautiful lamp and she keeps changing lights on it. And I noticed It does not even consume much power

Nice looking lamp but stopped working properly after about a month or two... currently works on and off but takes a while for the light to come on sometimes. Not all colours work anymore! Only red, green and yellow are working, if you put any other colour it will not come up or light up as some tother colour (red, green or yellow)... quite disappointed for the price paid. Not worth it... PS. it is a UK adapter! Not AU.

I have huge respect on the brand. Whatever I bought has been great, like this one. Easy to install and control
