Suwada creates and produces hightest quality nail clippers than any other brandname I know of. I bought my first pair of Suwada nail clippers in Japan, after had a beautiful manicure and pedicure done at a Japanese resort. I love the design and the percision of the clippers. How easy it is to use them in your hand is just incredible! I have bought total of 5 pairs of nail clippers over the years... and other products from Suwada. Pretty much exactly what I was expecting. Nice powerful cutters. Instructions are in Japanese! Use google translate to read them. But seriously, you know how to use them already. The shipping box is also the protective storage box. It’s not a premium case, but good enough. The point of the nipper is very sharp, so you don't want to let that roll around your junk drawer.

These are fantastic nail clippers, especially for a man with thick toe nails. These are tools more than just nail clippers. They will get the job done and you'll be impressed. They are super sharp and cut clean. I've been using mine for over a year and they continue to impress me. Buy them.

Who would write a review on nail clippers but these are not your regular dime store clippers. I saw a program on NHK Japan about the manufactor of these clippers and was intrigued. They put their heart and soul into making a precision cutting tool for your nails. They are amazing. They are expensive but when you use them you will feel the difference. I plan to go to Japan soon and I know that the maker has tours of how they make their clippers. They are used by nails salons all over Asia and USA. These are beautiful as well as practical. Well worth the price.

Super clippers. Sharp such that they cut as opposed to many that crush. Doesn't crush or split animal/dog nails, hooves, or claws too--no pain or injury for your animals. They will actually hold still for the trim, as these wont hurt them (stay out of the sterile matrix; however, and only cut nail plate).

I got these thick old man toenails. They laugh at those tweezer type toe-nail cutters. The ones in the drug store for 15$ only work if I nip at the edge of the toenail. If I try to use them to cut off any appreciable material they just bend and do not cut. In desperation I ordered these. They cut my thick toenails like they were made of butter. I love this grooming tool. I imagine I'll be using it the rest of my life if I don't lose it.

Does not do the work at all. Cut my nails ugly. The angle is wired.

手の爪も足の爪も切りやすい。 いつまでも切味が良い。さすがスワダ。 独立する息子にもリクエストされプレゼントしました。

力を入れなくても良く切れます。巻き爪で食い込んでしまった部分が普通の爪切りでは分厚さで入り込めずにいました。切れすぎて怪我しないように慎重にニッパーで少しずつ削るように切り取りました。 何度か繰り返すうちに巻き込みが少なくなってきています。

現状は切れ味良く、言うことなし。切れにくくなった時は、郵送で研磨してもらえるらしいが…
