The total length of the knigh? The actual length and width of the blade.** A: Just measured for you. The length of the knife, including handle is 10". The cutting edge of the blade is 5.5". The width of the blade is 1.5" at its widest (keep in mind it tapers to a point as you can see from the pics). The handle is 4-1/4" long and 3/4" at its widest. The depth(?) ( I guess that's what it's called) of the handle is 3/8". It's a very beautiful and lovely knife. It weighs 5 oz. **Q: Who does one contact to obtain warranty service on these?** A: Their warranty is worthless. Wouldn’t even back the sheath 1 day after it was bought. **Q: Is the cutting edge of this santoku knife beveled on 1 side & flat ( /| ) on the other or is the edge beveled on both sides ( /\ )?** A: It was kind of hard to tell but after examining the edge closest to the handle (like looking down the barrel of a gun if you understand what I mean) it is beveled on both sides /\. But it's a very tight bevel. IOW... the thickest part of the width is fairly narrow. I've seen thicker widths in some knives. I'm curious as to what the difference between a 1-sided bevel and a 2-sided bevel is. :) Would love to see you reply to this with that answer.
