This does what it is meant to do. Have bought and use 3 of these. Can assign any Giga set or non-Gigaset DECT handset to the base, but non-Gigaset won't have the full functionality

Brilliant item to connect to an analogue adapter from your modem for VoIP. It allows you to install your cordless phones where you see fit without having to leave one beside the modem to use as a base unit. It has an EU plug which can be adapted with this item (LRMYS 2-Pin EU Socket to 3-Pin UK Plug Adaptor, 5A Fuse European Type C/E/F Socket to Britain Type-G Plug Converter for Home Travel Hotel Business Trip, Black 1 Pack) for a UK socket. You will also need a standard RJ11 to RJ11 cable for Ireland or RJ11 to BT cable for the UK as the one supplied is for the German market. Other than that your good to go and it works perfectly with my Gigaset Cordless Phones.

Good value base station for Gigaset cordless phones. Allows time to synchronise across all handsets and allows for passing numbers from memory of one phone to another. All in all does what it should at a sensible price.

This item should not be on sale in the UK the power source is an old-fashioned European two pin plug not suitable for the UK, the wiring is not compatible with Gigaset phones it may be that this is an extension base not too sure but it doesn’t replace the Giga Box 100 PlayStation which seems to be a faulty item given the amount of people selling them. I would advise against buying Gigaset they don’t perform particularly well but in the quality is very poor given the price

I wasted money I don’t know how I can return this. This doesn’t match on my Virgin media provider . The cord is old fashioned small and the plug is not for Ireland. I still can’t use my gigaset home dect phone. Because I don’t know what base I should buy! I’m very frustrated.

Easy to use and setup. Works well with my gigs set A490 base units. Would have been good to have a light indicator to show connection status
