Product description This deluxe horsehair dusting brush is part of the best in breed cleaning series. The bristle fill is composed of natural materials for gentle cleaning and extended life. The opening is 1. 25" inside diameter. The softer PVC case that surrounds the bristles is pliable and designed to give when needed to better form to the hose coupling. The exterior material is also non-marring and wont scratch furniture or leave marks on the work. Fits standard vacuum connections at 1. 25" (32mm) friction fit. Typically works with central vacuum wands and canister vacuums. Fits all vacuum cleaners accepting 1 1/4" diameter tools Natural bristles Beige in color Review: These Dusting Brushes fit on my Dyson uprights - The connector OD is about 1.37". The port end plastic is flexible and a bit ovaled, so I cannot give you a real accurate measurement. But it just barely fits inside my Dyson hoses, sinking in to a depth of about 1/4". Which holds it firm, and yet is not too tight to easily remove. The connector ID is about 1.24". The overall diameter is 2.5", so these are not as big as something like a shop vac. Quality is just fine. Bristles are very soft, which is what I wanted. As I use these to vacuum the dust off my piano, which has a very fine glossy lacquer finish. At roughly $3.25 a piece, these are a steal. And they were shipped phenomenally fast. I plan to buy another set, for my second home. They're so inexpensive, I'll just keep one on each floor. Save me some trips up and down the stairs. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bristles do get sucked into the center, and screen the flow path. This is not a problem for small dust particles, but dust bunnies do collect on the bristles, and one has to remove the brush and suck them off with the hose from time to time. I suspect vacuuming bulkier things, like pet hair, might become truly annoying. But I have a different brush for that application. Review: GREAT FOR THE MONEY - GREAT REPLACEMENTS

GREAT FOR THE MONEY
GREAT REPLACEMENTS

Good product with minor modification.
They work well except that I had to shorten the inner fibers so that they didn't suck into the opening and hinder the cleaning action. Not a big deal, but it is too bad that the manufacturer didn't notice this and correct it. Now they work perfectly and we are very pleased.

Great Bargain
I have a little canister vac and I order extra pole extension and these. I love to get around furniture, the walls, and all the floorboards (molding, corners). And I like to use one for the floor and another for the ceiling dust (especially around vents)โฆ so it pays to have a second one and your ceilings come clean without dragging the floor dirt up to the ceiling. These fit perfectly on most vacsโฆ in fact, all my vacs (and I do have quite a few around here - I also have dogs)โฆ My third one is used to get crumbs and stuff off the furniture. I have asthma (dust allergy). So, while I'm not OCD... I'm just chase dust more than the average person. Recommend

Dusting
I love to dust with the vacuum. The bristles are soft so they are perfect for wood, glass, and intricate details. The bristles are a tad long so they suck together but even with this, they are doing an amazing job. Got a set of two.

Decent value for money, but the inside strands suck in and close off suction path
My only real complaint about these is that the inside diameter of bristles collapse, trap dirt and plug up, so I have to constantly pull it off the hose and run the hose around the inside if the brush from the brush side to clear it of debris in order to continue using it. I used a pair of scissors to cut away a portion of the bristles on the inside which helped a little bit, but did not totally resolve the problem. Thicker bristles may be the answer.

Excellent brush. Buy several.
I needed a brush with soft bristles for a tank vac. These worked well. If you press hard the bristles tend to bend inward and fill the center hollow so I clip those bent bristles out to allow dog hair and dust bunnies to pass through better. I have two sets of brushes & crevice tools for the vacuum, one for floors and another I store in a clean bag that I use for "clean" surfaces & areas like kitchen counter tops and all those kitchen drawers that wind up with crumbs from the toaster and other sources.

Not the same as I got the first time I ordered these
I ordered these replacement heads and they were as advertised and functioned as expected. So, when I needed new replacement heads, I order them again . What I got was not the same color but figured they would work the same so I put them on my workshop shelf until I needed to use them. Got them out a week ago and they are terrible. The brush head is attached to a metal ring and it falls out everytime you try to use it. Thought maybe it was just a defective brush head, so I got the other out to try and it is made the exact same way and falls apart when in use also. I didn't spend much and the return window is well closed by now, but very frustrating when they either changed the way they make these brush heads or shipped out substitutions that were not as good as their original product. Look for other replacements because you don't know what you will get when you buy these and the frustration level you reach when using these isn't worth the couple of bucks you might save.

Not what I expected
I ordered 2 of these to use for dusting furniture. When I received the items I found that they were not as soft as described and much too hard to dust lacquer furniture, for sure these brushes would cause hairline scratches. Plus they are on the small size. I am returning these for a refund. Sorry!!
