There is another model of this that I ended up getting for my Sensecap M1 which requires 3A. As long as the voltage is correct, the amp rating can be higher than what you need. The miner is only going to pull the amps it needs. **Q: is this all you need for Bobcat Miner? Or do i need something else. Pleas help** A: This product takes POE, and converts it to a 12VDC output. You lose the POE power in the process. The tip doesn't fit, but an Adafruit adapter from this 2.1mm to 1.7mm jack got it hooked up to power. It works exactly as you'd think. Power and data are delivered from a PoE enabled switch to the adapter, and from there split into their respective ports.
