I love this phone- best I've had!
I replaced my phone finally for the first time in years and it was a really great update! The color is beautiful, the storage is great, and it works well.

A good mid level phone but not a perfect one.
So for the most part this phone is great. I am updating my phone from a basic oneplus6. I would have kept that phone but it fell from my pocket and was lost. So this phone mainly feels the same as the oneplus 6 but I feel like it has better battery life than that phone. Other than, with the exception of OS changes, and a difference in camera holes and the lack of a headphone jack it's the same phone. I prefer the oxogen OS better on the 6 than on this Nord. It was possible to hide the the camera holes on the screen. The lack of a headphone jack is not as I thought it would be. It actually makes headphones more durable using the dongle since it puts pressure on the dongle and off the headphone.

IN2003 Model, works in Australia. Great phone, better than Samsung A51. Smooth, fast and all that I love OnePlus for. I still have a working OnePlus 2. Had USB C two years before Samsung. Great company, great phones.

Things I wanted for my next phone were: - Good Camera - Good Battery - Fair Screen for watching the odd YouTube vid on. Coming from the Galaxy S9 to this phone, it certainly delivers all this and more. The Battery is huge 4100mAh with my daily use can easily get a good Day & half out of it. Probably two days if i wasn't using it every 5 minutes. The Battery charges so fast i barely even remember the last time i charged the thing, 10 / 15 minutes its good for the day. The camera was good, recent software update from OnePlus polished the camera quality a huge bit. I've side loaded Gcam (Google Camera) software which makes the camera great. Its fast, snappy and responsive. The entire experience OnePlus delivers on this phone is superior. I think far superior to Samsung devices. Its the subtle tweaks / enhancements they make to the native google experience which make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. 10/10 will recommend to anybody in 2020. I'll never go back to a Samsung device for aslong as they keep shipping the rubbish Exynos chips to EU customers. SnapDragon is and will always be King.

Screen is great! P3 display makes most of a difference when watching movies & gaming. 90hz is so nice coming from a 60hz S10+ Unfortunately the one I have keeps over heating after doing light stuff like personal hotspot and downloading. Files/games when setting the phone up for the first time. [Since updates I haven't had any overheating doing light stuff but maybe that's due to the the heatwave going away]. When this does happen everything on the NORD is extremely slow. The volume buttons take 1-1.5 secs to rejester a long press. The screen goes way below 60hzs. Also the 30w warp charging has so far from my experience has just been as fast as my 15w S10+. Taken a good 40mins to get to 50. Not what I expected for 30w charging? This has now been fixed due to sofware or the the heatwave. updates However apart from this when web browsing and watching movies etc. It's a good option for the average person. Also this NORD phone can game but just so you know that it will probably over heat so when this happens the phone screen will dim down a little bit. When I mean it over heats I mean that I will get a notification saying on the line off the phone is too hot and some stuff will be restricted till the phone cools down. As I use my phone as a WiFi modem all the time for personal hotspot the NORD hoverheats slot of the time especially on a hot day at around 27c+. again probs due to th heat wave UK had 31c plus for a week when i was doing my testing. Hopefully this helps you out. Also i've noticed that at my work I don't have very little service and i'm on EE network. I'm unfortunately unable to play music sometimes or call on the OnePlus NORD. So i put the sim card in my S10+ and i could call, text, and load facebook and sometimes youtube with only a little delay. that makes me believe that the NORD over estimates the service it has evern though its a 5g phone. my sim is 4g. I did my test running YouTube from 100% to 0% on 50% brightness and 50% volume i got an accurate time of around 14h 57mins. 30W charging most days gets a full charge in 1hr. so I advise NOT plugging it in overnight with the 30W charger. Plug it in with a 5W cable and 5W wall plug if you charge over night. What i do is wake up in the morning and just do all the stuff i need to do then before you know it its on 75%. I did drop the phone and it was on concrete and i has the case on the down side as the frame is made of plastic the shock just made a dent in the phone and the case as you can see in the pics.

Oneplus Nord 8gb 228gb blue. I've been using it for a week as a replacement for a Sony Xperia X Compact, so the size and weight difference is considerable; this is not a light handset, but it goes with the large screen and battery. I have been really impressed with the overall speed and reliability; setup was really simple and fast and so far I've experienced no software or hardware glitches. The data speed on Three is around 50mb up and down on 4G, which is faster than Virgin fibre, although I've not yet had a chance to test 5G. The processor is also very impressive; it's runs intensive games at full frame rates, and even when connected to a TV with the MS wireless dongle, which begs the question what the more expensive processors can do better. Battery life is pretty good and I'm getting easily 36-48 hours from a full charge including some gaming, browsing and streaming music. I need to fettle it a bit more to get some more battery life and privacy set up. I'm using MS launcher so I can't comment much on the OP skin, although the extra features in the settings seem helpful and it is not missing anything obvious. The phone comes with a basic clear rubber case and preinstalled plastic screen protector. The camera is perfectly OK with no shutter lag, although it does tend to overexpose a bit on auto settings. I'm a bit unimpressed about the changes to the OP UI that will come in v11, but I can live with it if it doesn't include any bloat. Overall its a decent phone for the price, with only Realme, Xioami or the upcoming Pixel coming close. This is my first OP so I can't comment on long term support, but historically I understand its been OK, with massive independent dev support that will likely keep it going for longer than some of the alternatives.
