Still dependable and going strong 2 ½+ years after purchase!
I got this more for powering/charging our iPads and Mac laptops when they are almost out of power and I didn't want to run a cable from a receptacle. I use it weekly on kitchen table (patio table in summer) to charge and power and eliminate a long cord and charger in the wall outlet. It's provided excellent service and in that I'm exercising its internal battery routinely, its performance and long output between charges hasn't degraded at all. I know come an emergency or power outage, this small and well made power bank is going to be a life saver to keep our mobile phones charged so we have cellular communication. My only regret is if I had to do this again, I might have gone up one or two models for a larger battery (more capacity) and higher wattage/amps, but, I have never regretted this purchase at all and this model has still worked out so very well. 5 stars all around and I'm very satisfied with this model over 2 ½ years after I purchased it!

The little portable power station that could
This is a must have for bad weather. I charged it up and tested it before the expected bad weather we are getting and it worked great. It’s also lightweight and compact so easy to store when you don’t need it. I’ll be using this thing until my piggy bank grows enough for a generator.

Small, lightweight power supply
Got this as an emergency power source. I wasn't expecting it to be so small & light. I've even popped it into my backpack with my laptop & other stuff. It did great to power a floor lamp at storage unit for my friend. I haven't tried yet to run space heater on it.

Surviving hurricane season in the Gulf South
I bought one of these smaller versions from Westinghouse, the iGen160s, very small and easy to carry around, but saw that the larger and more powerful station, the iGen200s was on sale at the same price, so I ordered 2 more for my children's bedrooms during our annual hurricane season in New Orleans. These ae great machines to keep your smaller electronic devices powered up during storms or whenever your electricity fails. Light weight, will charge 7 or 8 devices simultaneously, and good battery life span. Great emergency equipment. Then I bought the iGen300s and just received this larger unit, so I’m charging it up now. We have been advised by our Entergy Co. that we should be prepared to go off grid anywhere between 10-21 days depending on the severity of the storm. After Katrina, we take hurricane season very seriously and any tools that make life less unbearable are good tools, but these come with good value for the dollar and 2 year warranties.

Not good for power outage during winter weather
I bought this item to run a small wattage heater and heat pad during a power outage in cold weather, based on other reviews. It will not run the 200 watt heater. The 150 watt limit is real - not sure why it says 300 peak watts. It won't run the heat pad either. So, it's basically a fancy power brick for phones and similar devices. On the pros, it is small and charges fast with the plug.
