First off Yes it does burn a little but I love this stuff. It is way more effective than the standard saline spray from the same brand. I have been using the standard stuff at night for a while because for whatever reason laying down makes me kinda stuffy which is not great for sleeping and saline helps but it doesnt stay clear long. So I decided to try this stuff and it is great. It clears my nose fast and it stays that way for a lot longer. 2 things I have learned though. It does burn for about the first 10 seconds when used but it isnt excruciating. If you have a low pain tolerance it might be an issue but I just tough it out the same way I do with strong mouthwashes that burn sometimes because it works so well. The other thing is you dont need a lot! I dont need to fill my nose with mist like the original I was usuing. just one brief spritz in each side and I am usually good to go. Also if you spray a ton of it out in your nose at once the burning is also a little worse so that is another reason to not to use too much. All in all I love it. Obviously in a perfect world I would prefer it not burn at all but there isn't really much they can do about it. The eucalyptus is what causes the burning sensation but it is also what makes it work so well. considering how effective this is and how minor the burning is for me I will gladly keep using it.

I cannot hardly believe the results of this product. I had a 20 year deep sinus infection caused by a C-Pap machine. Only used the C-pap machine for 6 months & realized the damage it was doing to my sinuses & quit. But the sinus damage was done,... long term stuffiness, sneezing eveery morning, & runny nose. Docs had no answers except drug sprays that didn't work & just made things worse & actually damaged the liniing of my nose. Eventually I looked for a 'natural' less harsh cure. Vitamine did not help. Ocean Saline spray seemed to help a little so I used it for abut 2 years. Then It was not avail anymore so I tried off-brand saline sprays but they were weak pretenders. Saw this style of saline spray on amazon, didn't know what it was for sure. But WOW. This stuff has more controlled power behind the spray & a great distribution tip. Pre-pressurized make for a nice, uniform application. TIP: I used a different procedure from the one sugg on the bottle: I don't do the 'spray in one side of the nose & have it flush out thru the other. Instead'. Instead, I spray each side loading saline into both sides & inhaling slightly,...then tilt my head back & this causes drainage down the back of my throat & I spit it out. Uses less solution, not as messy, more control & works! I alternate between the Regular Saline version, the Extra Saline version, & the Yellow can version with an herb additive. The herb additive version does sting a bit but I believe it is well worth the discomfort. That's why I alternate. I also try to lay down after spraying to encourage the solution to penetrate deeper & stay longer bathing nose lining. I spray about one second in each nostral, which is not the hold & flush out approach they suggest. After using this first week I also avoided blowing my nose (unless absolutely necessary) after each treatment to encourage bathing the nose lining. One treatment in the mornng, one before bed. Often sleeping on my side encouraged nose to decongest naturally & encouraged clear breathing. NOSE & SINUSES HAVE A MORE NATURAL RHYTHM NOW. No harsh chemical sprays or pills. I HAD FORGOTTEN WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BREATH WITH BOTH NOSTRILS CLEAR & IT IS AMAZING! Simple & effective. HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU. BOTTOM LINE: EARNS *****5***** Five Stars

This product does a great job at cleansing my nasal passages, and I can sleep well. I do not have to use it every day / night, but when I do use it, it helps.

I've used the regular extra strength and it's worked fine with the slight sting. This one stings but then you feel the cooling sensation in your nostrils. It feels like it's better decongesting. The only issues it's spray isn't too powerful, either because of the added eucalyptus oil or because it's a defective can because it was slightly crushed during shipping. I'll add another store once I find out what's going on.

Simply Saline is good just to keep my nose washed free of pollutants like dust and pollen. That is not always enough. By around 5 pm every day my nasal passages swell up to where I cannot breathe thru my nose even a little. The nighttime version of Simple Saline is what works then. I go the sink, tilt my head and spray each side letting it sit a few seconds and then drain or bow the excess out one side at a time. Within a minute I can breathe normally. I live above 5,000 ft elevation in Colorado. Need supplemental oxygen. But it only works if I can breath it in! This has been a life saver. And yes I’ve tried the allergy sprays. They help a little but this is the best at least for me. I’m taking the time to share this as hopefully I can help others struggling with this problem. We are all different but this works for me. Costco sells the plain SimplySaline for a great price for a 3 pk but I have not found the night version there yet. I ordered again from Amazon and it was on my doorstep out in the country early this morning!

Listen, I used to go to bed sounding like a 1920s accordion and waking up every hour like a confused walrus. Not only did I fall asleep faster than a dad in a recliner after Thanksgiving dinner, but I stayed asleep. No more 3 a.m. nose flapping. Just pure, uninterrupted, blissful REM. Plus, it’s saline, not some chemical storm. So I don’t feel like I’m huffing something out of a lab. It’s gentle, effective, and somehow magical. Like if a unicorn became a pharmacist. Highly recommend for anyone whose nostrils have been holding their breath for years. This stuff? It’s a nose miracle.

Alright.. get ready for the ride of your life.. first off.. just understand it's like exercising a demon out of your body.. it's like the 6th grade science experiment where every kid did a volcano... yeah.. that kind of eruption.. make sure you lean your head forward.. if not.. you're getting that concoction down your throat and let me save you the experience.. that one.. I regret.. because it burns the throat waaaaay worse than the sinuses.. but I digress.. you lean forward.. jam the tip into your nose to form a seal.. depress.. and this cold burning koala leaf foaming mixture erupts into your sinuses and goes ripping out your free nostril.. so do it over a sink.. unless you want that crap everywhere.. again.. saving you from yourself here.. do it in a steaming hot shower to absolutely win at this.. 10/10 recommend.. your sinuses will be cleaner than your kitchen the night before family comes over for christmas.. more wide open that an 8 lane highway at 3am.. get past the burn.. yes.. it sucks.. but I've had worse.. and you will be in absolute bliss.. the family came down with RSV last week.. and this was the ONLY thing that really cleared out my sinus pressure.. not a humidifier. not tylenol severe sinus.. not robitussin.. not mucinex.. they all helped.. but this Nighttime Nasal Mist slayed better than that time King Arthur slayed a dragon (probably).. jeez.. I'm ordering another bottle right now.
