This shampoo is great for curly girlies!! I bought it for my daughter who has super curly hair. It helps with tangles and makes her curls look super defined. it's very moisturizing. Doesnt dry her hair out at all and completely reduced frizz.

This shampoo and conditioner really work. I used it on my son's 4c hair and it detangles, moisturizes, and leaves the hair really soft. I would buy it again.

This is a well liked product in my household of hair. Smells good, works great but the price point for this bottle does NOT keep me going back for repurchase. I hate how you can buy a $7 bottle of shampoo or conditioner for Caucasian hair types but people of color are always marketed at a 200% mark-up. $30 for 16 oz of product (shampoo and conditioner) is NOT the business so they don't get my business.

I’ve been using this shampoo for about 5 years. I use a pre-poo to detangle first. Then, part my hair in 4 sections and massage my scalp with my finger tips (not nails) for about a minute then smooth the excess down my hair shaft. I follow up with a deep conditioner and that’s it. Wash days are hassle-free.

This shampoo not only cleans well, but it moisturizes too! I use this product mainly on my biracial daughters' 4c hair. I've tried other shampoos, but I keep coming back to this one. It does what it claims to do and leaves their hair feeling clean and smelling amazing!

It detangles hair and smells great. It basically replaced my conditioner. HOWEVER, it also makes my hair oily so that I have to wash my hair more, not less often. I tried to "stick it out" and wash my hair every other day like I used to, and my scalp is actually breaking out in acne from the increased oil. I have gone to using this on the ends of my hair only, or using a clarifying shampoo on alternating days just to control the oil

I bought this after a YouTube recommendation and I am not disappointed. I have 4b hair and it really cleanses without stripping my hair. I think this is my 4th bottle so far.

I would agree with a previous comment about this not being the same product. I have bought this shampoo on numerous occasions and it has been great, however the last bottle I bought did not seem to be the same product. The bottle was gold and labelled as 'Alpha'. I noticed that the colour and texture were also very different. When shampooing my hair I could feel it drying immediately, whereas it would usually retain a moist texture. I have since found that my hair is more tangled and clumpy. Usually this is a great product which has been a saviour to my hair. The last bottle I got did not seem like the correct product.
