High quality is worth the time and money
This is a really nice quality bed. Definitely worth the extra money for toddlers that are as active as mine. The instructions were tough. If you’re experienced in putting things together, this will test your limits. When it comes to the support beam on the top bed, it needs to be screwed into to 2 long pieces that have to be oriented perfectly to work as planned. To me, that wasn’t made clear, so I used 2 identical pieces in the wrong place. It was too late for me because the entire bed was assembled, so I had to manually screw the screws without the guide points. The screws are greaaaaaaat though. Like they are sturdy, sharp, and easy to catch grip. Even at an angle. There are an abundance of pieces but definitely nothing missing. More screws and like items than you need. It took me 9 hours to put this together by myself. For the next person, I’d suggest trying to study assembly before it arrives in its 2 extra heavy boxes at your doorstep. In the end, it looks really amazing, works perfect, and the high quality wood maintains perfect stability despite my jumping toddlers. I look at it like a proud build.

Works as designed, but not perfect.
When researching for a low bunk bed, I wanted one with stairs so my child could be safer while climbing rather than using a ladder. Though this bunk bed was on the more expensive side, I took a chance even with all the bad reviews saying it’s hard to put together and some parts came damaged. After receiving the bunk bed and putting to together, I would agree that many reviews here are truthful. There are no words to help with the instructions, but if you’re detailed oriented, it’s not hard to follow. The hardest part of the install is when you need to not tighten the screws all the way, the manual says 80% tightened, but really it should be 50% tightened or you risk scratching your bed posts with the wood inserts. Other than that, the wood pieces come not perfect and there are scratches and dents here and there. But overall it is sturdy enough for a child, though I would not try to sleep on the top bunk as an adult. I am satisfied overall, and it is a cool bed so I still gave it 5 stars if you can overlook that instructions are not the best and wood is not perfect. Buy it if you are looking for a low bunk bed with stairs.

Great toddler bed
At this price point, this is fairly sturdy and dependable choice. It took a few hours to assemble working solo (and might have done faster if not for toddlers wanting to inspect the work at every step). This isn't going to be last for decades craftsmanship, but at this price you shouldn't expect it to. There is a little flex if the littles lean into the railings (they are not secured it by screw) which gives me a little hesitancy, but that is an issue easily remedied by some wood adhesive. The finish isn't of super high quality either and there are a couple spots where the wood was gouged/chipped during manufacturing or shipping. But in general, the bunks fit a twin mattress perfectly, the steps are easy for toddlers to maneuver (and for an adult to use as well if needed). I was surprised how easy it was to assemble solo.

Great bunk bed with a few caveats.
Great quality bed, fairly straight forward to assemble. Definitely helps to have a second pair of hands to help with some of the steps. Feels very sturdy with all bolts tightened down and I have good faith in the construction. Some downsides though: -Has a strong paint chemical smell for the first few days, I kept a few more houseplants in the room to clear the air quicker. -Shorter than I imagined. Double check the height of the bed and know what you're getting. Search "RovingCove Edge Protector for Baby Proofing" for corner padding -A little longer than expected. It's made for a Twin but has a few extra inches of foot room for the mattress. (Definitely not a Twin XL though) Overall though it's a pretty good valued bunk bed.

Great bunk beds
I'm editing my original review, but I'm keeping it at 5 stars because I'm not sure if I can blame this issue I'm having directly on the bed itself: We've had this bed for months now and I've noticed mold growing under the bottom bunk mattress on the planks. There is no air flow under the bed so the moisture from our propane fireplace is trapped under the bed. I've also noticed trapped moisture between the bottom bunk and the walls it is against. I purchased a dehumidifier and I hope it helps with this problem but I'm mentioning this so people are aware of this as a possible issue. Original review: Love these beds, they are sturdy and great quality. I didn't want a junky cheap bed that would fall apart and these definitely are not that. I see a lot of reviews saying that they were difficult to put together and were bad quality but I didn't have this issue at all. I put them together myself and it took me like half a day. One of the planks were a bit damaged but that was from UPS being rough with packages like always.

Great bunk bed for younger kids
This is a great bunk bed for younger kids! It was easy to assemble and the instructions were straight forward. It’s easier to have two people when assembling however it is also possible to do on your own. The bed is sturdy and looks nice in the room. Definitely recommended.

It's ok.
The top rail is wobbly and squeaky... The top bunk rails are only held in place with dowles. They aren't screwed into place. It took two adults about 5 hours to put together, and at times needed extra assistance to balance items, or get holes to semi align. Some screws didn't fully line up. Two pieces on the stairs were broken that we glued back together with wood glue and a nail. The stair rail holes didn't line up correctly, so we had to get creative in getting them to screw together. Unfortunate that this is a $700 bed and has these sort of faults. Overall, it seems sturdy. I don't have concerns that it will collapse.
