BLACK DIAMOND Access Spike Traction Device, Winter Grip, Winter Hiking

My wife and I needed spikes for winter walks on hilly and rocky trails. Tried a set from a local outdoor specialty store, but returned them. These work very well - remain snug on our boots, very little if any slip, good grip and good bite on ice. She & I would be buy these again.

took them on a 3 mile hike over very icy conditions. Up hill, down hill with a 40 lb pack on. Never slipped at all. easy to get on and off.

Good spikes. If ur hiking boots are 9.5 like mine, better choose Large. It runs small for 9.5.

Broke on first use. A link slipped out of its hole. I managed to put it back in with a lot of effort, but it came out again the next time I used them. This happened again and again on every hike! Don't buy these crampons unless you plan to hike with a pair of pliers in your pocket...

One near slip and fall and I bought these compulsively. Best purchase I’ve ever made my whole life.

I bought these over the Kahtoolas and ended up regretting it. The spikes are smaller and I had the metal braces I guess detaching from the harness which is a real pain to deal with at high altitudes.

I’ve been using them this winter/early spring on the trails- they are easy to get on/off & are fantastic on ice and snow.

Chains on side attachment broke on first day. No easy way to repair them.

5月末に残雪の会津駒、今月は残雪の燧ヶ岳で立て続けに使用しました。何よりも着脱しやすく、アイゼンよりも早いし軽いしコンパクトで申し分無しでした。夏でも雪渓が残る山には必ず持って行きたい山道具です。

初めてでもスムーズに装着できました。ゴム部分の消耗具合などが気になります。

ＭＢのチェンスパを使っていましたが、ＢＤの軽さに惹かれて購入。片足50gの違いは大きい。サイズはチャート通りだと小さ目になっていると思う。EU40でＭを選んだが、ギリギリ。

命にかかわる可能性がある商品なのでしっかりした商品を購入しようと思いこちらを購入。 実戦投入はまだですが、作りはしっかりしていて問題なさそうです。 価格は高すぎる気がしますがまぁいいでしょう。
