Does the silicone material contain any fillers, including the blue part?

Can't say for sure but they do say it is 100% silicone in their ad and they do have a 100% money back guarantee if not satisfied. Mine is silicone on both sides but it does look like the center is some sort of cloth like material (you can see the weave) which would be necessary to keep this large mat from ripping.

Does this mat have the same fibers in it that a baking mat has, Is it safe for high temperatures?

Hey, Thank you for your question! No, this silicone pastry mat does not have the same fibers in it as the other baking mats, this one is not suited for high temperatures or ovens. It is intended to be used for rolling dough etc. on your counter space. (If you are looking for another silicone baking mat which is intended for the oven, you can check out our store and find one there) - Your Friends at KPKitchen

what is the thickness of this mat?

Hi, Thank you for your question. Our silicone pastry mat has a thickness of 0,6mm. - Your friends at KPKitchen

Will it stay in place on butcher block top?

Hi, Thank you for your question! Our silicone mat has a anti-slip material, it will stay in place and stick to the surface (also on your butcher block top). It does not slip, slide or move around. It just sticks like it‘s glued down. - Your Friends at KPKitchen
