I pick this up for my wife, who is sensitive to a range of soaps. The quality of this soap is very high - and it is made with clean ingredients. We keep it on a soap saver in the shower so it stays in good shape and lasts. The fragrance is mild and pleasant. It lathers up well. It makes the skin feel smooth. Together with other products by this company, my wife says her skin feels very good - particularly in the Winter, when it tends to dry and crack. Strongly recommended - you get what you pay for here.

Lathers well if you do not have hard water. A must try at least once. Expensive but fantastic.

Yes, the price, at the time of this writing, is now $14 a bar. That feels stupid high (but in reality isn't, as I'll explain below). However, after years of using this particular soap, I wouldn't change, and every time we stay somewhere else and have to use a different soap I wish I had this. The scent and lather are nice, and it rinses well without drying, so you don't have that greasy feel after using a body wash, for example. However, the two things that make this a good value relative to the obviously high price, in my opinion, are: 1. The bar is oversized. It is nearly twice the weight of other bars. There is just a lot more soap here. 2. It has the same characteristics all the way to the end. By that I mean, I've tried other bars, and it often seems like what is useful leaches out, and toward the end you have something that doesn't lather or clean well. These soaps, for me, work right until the end. Net, this will last a lot longer than other, cheaper bars. Overall, a good value and a great experience despite the up-front price, but the price is getting close to the inflection point, even for a loyal user like me...

Great soap, but a very large bar. Would prefer two smaller bars. If you try to cut it in half, it breaks into multiple pieces.

If you have never tried Lo'ccitane it is the best. I first saw this brand on QVC years ago and had to try it. Since then my husband asks for the soaps all the time. We love that the soap is triple milled, huge bars that make a nice thick lather. When I say thick lather, I mean lots of silky big bubbles that leave your skin feeling so soft, and clean. The scent on these soaps are superb and not over powering either. I love them all!

Really fabulous soap bar with a sparkling citrus fragrance that fills the bathroom. Very gentle on skin and not at all drying. A fair price for the large 250g size and the noticeably high quality of the ingredients so worth it for a real touch of luxury! All of the L'occitane ranges are some of the nicest products I've ever used and the fragrances are stunning. Team this up with the matching shower or bath wash and even a deodorant and you'll feel and smell shower fresh all day long! 5*

I still prefer the old formula over this new one but for this price I can’t complain
